Just like many others, I received the news of Nnamdi Kanu's reappearance with mixed feelings. On one side, I'm happy that he is alive while on the other hand, I'm befuddled and in a state of confusion about a lot of questions that keep bothering me, and I believe, many other Igbos both within the South East/South South and within the rest of Nigeria as well as abroad. There has been some sort of silence of the graveyard since the news filtered in, along with the propaganda and conspiracy theories flying about. However, in the midst of all these, a lot of questions must be answered as soon as possible so we can know the way forward.

1. What really happened on that day Nigerian army invaded his father's palace in Umuahia? Was Nnamdi Kanu kidnapped by the army and smuggled out and later held in a boat off the coast of Bayelsa as was alleged??

2. Did Nnamdi Kanu escape on his own (this is very unlikely in my view considering that he was on the phone right there in his room when soldiers broke into the compound after a staccato of gunfire)? Likewise, his passport had been seized earlier which will make it impossible for him to fly abroad.

3. If question 1 above holds true, then what is the motive behind releasing him now by buhari and APC?? Have they lost hope of winning the election in a free and fair contest and thus deciding to play dirty in a desperate attempt to take the sail out of Atiku and PDP's growing popularity??

4. If 3 above holds true, will Nnamdi Kanu allow these desperados to play on his intelligence by using him to throw spanner in the works of the opposition, thereby reaping huge benefits from it??

5. If question 2 holds true (which I doubt anyway) why would he stay away all these while only to reappear now??

6. Is he going to call for total election boycott? Now, to tow this path will be dangerous and could backfire big-time based on:
a. He risks losing his reputation because a large number of Igbos won't listen to him, and if this happens, it will be the beginning of the end because he would be demystified.
b. On the other hand, he can't possibly ask people to go out and vote for Atiku or any other candidate because that will completely negate everything he stood for.

Left for me, he shouldn't make any comment about the election but rather use diplomacy and wisdom....

He will be granted presidential pardon . Then he will personally campaign for Buhari.
