In terms of academic standard both locally and internationally, uniben has no place in top ten in Nigeria. Stop comparing your substandard sch with UNILORIN. We are better by far.

No doubt unilorin is ten times better in learning condition, equitment, comfort, methodology and assessment, I am a graduate from uniben and I can categorically tell you that uniben is a f*cked up school, where lecturers are no friendly and transparent, learning condition is hostile, environmentally nuts, the only glory in uniben is the certification of more professors and her past glory as the first generational universities.

Yes. The university favours Binis to a large extent. If you are connected with good CGPA, it can be upgraded ( although it is not peculiar to that school alone). Private universities like covenant gives what student merit unlike public universities that derive joy in reducing CGPA. I have a friend who graduated with 4.49 from engineering while another with same grade from mathematics. Many lecturers don't send their kids to public universities because they know what goes on behind the scene. It will shock you that these lecturers teach and impact knowledge on their students when they are on sabbatical leave at private universities compare to public universities that they care less

Is Uniben better than University of Ibadan?, cos a third class from Unilorin went back for undergraduate degree in University of Ibadan and made a first class, so i don't know your basis now. If the first class in unilorin comes to Uniben, he should still be a first class student. well, except sadism is something normal in uniben
