you can't learn the way of God at school. most of Christ apostles were not learned

Which theology degree did Paul have before entering christian ministry?.. Don't get me wrong pastors have to learn before entering ministerial assignment but how they learn it varies from ministeries to ministeries... Also the content of curriculum would also cause conflicts as many ministeries differ in their interpretation of scriptures.
yea...true

Did we have Nysc 2000 years ago? So we should stick with the laws of that time because them it's Christianity. Even at creation, God said we should go conquer the world. That means we should update ourselves.

Abeg Rwandan people carry on. Let's separate the chaff from the seeds.

that is not the reason. the reason is that, Nigerians are too gullible. once pastoring stop being lucrative most pastors will quit

there was education in Jesus day but still see it fit to choose from the common and lesser men at that time. the Bible already made it clear that there will be false prophets. human government should not regulate the work of God. God will separate the chaff from the seed in his appointed time

Excellent!
Especially if it goes across all religious secs!

I grew up in Anambra and during school holiday many fellowships use Public schools for camps. Humans sleeping in open dark mosquito-ridden, unsafe classrooms because they want to “meet with the Lord”. undecided
grin grin grin grin Meet the lord? Did they met the lord eventually?,

Actually, it is the other way round.

If they did it to the Muslim folks, unintelligent people like you would claim igbos who are majority Christians, are islamo phobic.
Thank God, it mostly affects Christians, so nobody is accusing igbos of bigotry.

You see what your bigoted, unintelligent eyes wants to see.

Exactly why you lots are always confused. Even the blind, deaf and dumb in Nigeria knows those that cry marginalization all the time. They have succeeded in turning themselves to slàves in their own land.

how is telling churches not to use schools for their programmes amount to regulating work of God?

As sound as your point is about Paul or any apostle not having a theology degree, you may not judge modern way of doing things with the old. The moneylenders, bookkeepers, healers, and other specialized positions of that period did not get degrees but their equivalents today must get degrees or at least a diploma.

Theology is not all about scriptural interpretation.it also deals with how to properly relate with life experiences and other systems of belief. Something so many pastors, called or uncalled, lack. Some pastors don't even know the history and socio political realities of the religion they follow.

While I don't think a degree should be enforced, a diploma in theology should be a requirement to lead any religious organization.
