Sure boss.
Finally, just got a debit notice from GTBANK for 182 days......in my calculations,it should be 12%...
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by tolajay: 8:06pm On Oct 18, 2018
So I think. Also considering that the previous auction was 13.1%.

Just to be sure...I invested 1.3m and got an interest of 166,889K

By my calculation, it was around 12.8% interest.

Mfunkynation:
12.8% for 364 days is not all that good... 13% will be better

In as much as people are encouraged to read up previous pages for answers to their possible enquiries, it wouldn't be a bad idea to answer such enquiry if you can or just look away. Sometimes you need an info very quickly and you're not even sure how many pages you will open before you come across your answer. Searching the thread would have been it, but right now that is not possible.
If the question is about treasury bill, then it should be welcome even if it has been asked before. If you are irked by that, simply ignore.
My humble submission

When you say 92 days, i want to believe that you did secondary market as there is no primary market of 92 days. You only have primary market of 91, 182 and 364 days.
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by micos: 12:48pm On Oct 19, 2018
Sorry it should be 91 days.

Your interest was at about 10.67%

700000 - 681326=18674 (This is your interest)

Formula
(18674/700000) * (91/364) * 100 = 10.6708%

You are not supposed to get up to 31K. something is wrong somewhere? This is over 15% interest. check the Tenor if its not above 60days. you definitely wont get TB rate of over 15% for 60 days presently. At 15%, it is still less than 31k, and you call that Just?

The rate that will give you about 31K for 60days if you invested 1.2m must be around 15.7%. who will give that please, because as far as i know, happy times have not come yet.
it's actually 90days and I got 31k

It must be your first time on this thread lol. The rates are different with all banks, be it primary or secondary market.

Welcome to the thread. And don't forget to spend few minutes in reading previous pages. You would benefit a lot if you do.
