I have been saying that the best thing that would happen to Ndigbo now is for this fool called Nnamdi kanu to be killed off. I wish the Nigerian army killed him. The guy is just too arrogant for my liking . A time when we are trying to get it right with Atiku/Obi presidential ticket, this animal came out to skuttle whatever chances we have to correct these imbalances against us. This guy is working against Igbo interst, period! For me, I stopped believing in Biafra when these ipob kept on playing ostrich by continually dragging SS into Biafra We are going to be stuck in the wilderness again, for donkey years, unless this kanu of a guy is killed. 1 Like |

Igbo cannot be held to ransom by one deranged lunatic. Kanu is just one man and we must find a way to sacrifice him for our own good and survival. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

I dont agree with most of u guys opinion on nnamdi kanu. I however agree that he should redraw the map of biafra to be an igbo- only affair. (Yes he can understandbly include ikwere and anioma since they speak igbo) U guys accuse him of leading the igbo nation to annihilation while absolving the fact that he and his group are non violent and are victims of buhari's violent-prone politics. 1 Like 1 Share |

Bede2u: People keep talking about non-violence, everybody knows what Nigeria is, which is why hundreds of IPOB members are dead and none of the leaders are. If somebody sends you a ticket to Syria, does that person have your safety in mind? 6 Likes 1 Share |

Bede2u: His group are "non violent" because they lack the capacity for violence and because Igbos aren't violent people. Their rhetoric and utterances have been violent and they've severally threatened violence against the state. In any civilized country in the world, no government would tolerate incitement like that. If Fulanis were making the kind of statements Kanu and his IPOB lieutenants have been making, the nation would worry because those people have tremendous capacity and will to dish out violence. 4 Likes |

Bede2u: Well hundreds of people have died, and there's nothing to show for it after over 2 years of ranting, I don't know what is actually being done. Biafra, this new agitation, is a distraction and has been childish for a very long time now, the best thing would be to quietly move on to more sensible political strategies, like many discussed here. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Bede2u: What he is doing is act of provocation of SS minorities . He's attracting unnecessary animosity towards Ndiigbo. He's boxing us in. Not only do we have to deal with the Yoruba-Arewa gang up, Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB through their lack of logical reasoning, are opening another up war front in SS for us. How can you tell SS people that there is nothing like SS? And you go ahead to impose your Biafran identity on them, even when you know how much they resent it. They had repeatedly told you they have no interest in your Biafra, they had made their opinions known through their national bodies, their commoners have made their opinion known in social media, and in real world, they have refused to comply with any of your protests or sit at home orders. But your justification for this madness of insisting they are Biafra, is that Effiong and minorities played key roles in Biafra. Does this sound like what a man capable of rational analysis and reasoning would say. Now let's spIn this. How would Nnamdi Kanu and his hordes of IPOB people( who by the way, are disappointing me by proving they are incapable of independent reasoning of their own, a feature that is un-Igbo, there is a reason we have no kings, it's because we are independent minded people ) feel if a Fulani person say the below : "There is nothing like Biafra, Biafra is the creation of Ojukwu, it didn't exist before 1967. Biafrans are Arewa people, they are Nigerians. How can you say Biafrans are not Nigerians when Zik fought for Nigerian Independence and was a Nigerian President. Ekwueme was Nigerian VP, Igbos were Nigerian Senate presidents and House of representatives speaker". Would you not feel incensed? You will tell him that you don't regard Zik. But so too do SS people not regard Effiong and those other SS people that played prominent roles for Biafra. They regard Boro who fought for Niger delta republic, just as you regard Ojukwu who fought for Biafra. Why are IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu incapable of basic rational reasoning expected of a modern man? Why? 10 Likes 2 Shares |

Also, all of these nations, whether Israel or the US or France, etc, do not intervene in African politics without their best interests at the forefront, which usually means securing, stealing, raping African resources without a care for African lives. All this emotional and superstitious attachment to Israel is embarrassing and naive. See how they treat Ethiopian Jews for reference. 8 Likes |

Obi1kenobi:the bolded is very irronical. In a civilised country, u take people like that to court and argue why its in the best interest of the state to lock them up. U dont invade their homes with tanks. If the fulanis are saying it..u take them to court too. Thats is CIVILISATION. Its easy to not want to fight for freedom of speech. 3 Likes 1 Share |

oilyngbati: You want to sacrifice him? Who gave you the choice. If everything was ok in Igboland, there will be no NK. Demagogues may offend people but they only arise when there are fundamental issues in the society. If his message doesn’t resonate with a cross-section of our society, he won’t have mass followership. Rather than singing about how you want to sacrifice NK, think about how to solve the environmental issues that gave birth to him. I don’t frankly believe that Atiku is going to do it for us either. We need a fundamentally different approach to escape. 1 Like |

Bede2u: That's not the point at all. The point is that his rhetoric has often verged on incitement to violence and the only reason we've seen little violence from IPOB is the lack of will or capacity by his followers to do so. IPOB are not a "non-violent" group. Not only is their rhetoric often a call to violence, they have employed thuggery and intimidation in the South East to compel conformity to their sit-at-homes. 1 Like |

Bede2u: But you and I know they wouldn't. They have become a law unto themselves, which wouldn't be bad if they are astute thinkers and rational bunch. But as we can see, from their continual shameless annexation of unwilling and even Igbophobic entities in SS into their fantasy Biafra maps, they are not. Now go to political section here and see inconsequential minority groups in SS embarrassing Ndiigbo because of IPOB hollow speeches. IPOB has become an enemy of Igbo nation. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Curlieweed:My brother, sometimes it’s best to sacrifice something/someone, count your losses and move on. Sometimes in business, you cut cost in order to make profits. During the June 12 political saga, the entire Yoruba leadership agreed to “sacrifice” abiola in order to prevent the calamity that would had befell their region. And today, the Yoruba are better for it. Nnamdi kanu is a miscreant and a out of control dog who cannot be put on the leach, hence; should be eliminated so that Ndigbo can be saved from the embarrassment. Someone rightfully portrayed how he's opening up another enemy front for us in the SS. We don’t need this crap! 3 Likes 1 Share |

Bede2u: If after all the evidence proving these people Igbophobia. And IPOB insists on adding them to their Biafra plans, what made you think any thing you and I or anyone else say matter? How long have we been arguing with IPOB members, that the struggle must be restricted to Igbo areas only? How long? 3 Likes 1 Share |

This whole IPOB movement exposes the danger of the one-man saves all theory that Igbo people have been following for a while, the road to success is not going to come from a Messiah, rather it's going to come from unity and focus and reasonable thinking. Like everybody else does, have no permanent enemies or friends and put your own interest at the forefront, everything else is noise. 6 Likes 1 Share |

ezeagu: If the "one man" was even worthy of it, it might be understandable. Ojukwu made a lot of mistakes (and I still believe his fleeing the civil war rather than surrendering himself was cowardly) but he was fit to lead such a movement. Here, we have some jobless, uncouth riff-raff from the UK who is clearly not a mentally balanced individual leading many people off a cliff. He has proven a long time ago that he is directionless and has no strategic thought in his head and just goes as the wind leads him. Add his whole Jewish mystique thing and you just have a clown. 2 Likes |

He has always been a transparently mentally unbalanced individual. Then got power drunk as many Igbos foolishly rallied behind a charlatan and we started seeing nonsense like this: 3 Likes 1 Share
