Just had to force my self to love mathematics since I am science oriented.taught and lectured mathematics for long long and been able to impart same in to about 80% of the students who passed through me.some of them are out of this nation and have never stopped to appreciate my efforts and to God be all d glory.Mathematics no easy at all ,hard work and deep studies does it and I EVER PRAY mathematics TEACHERS ARE FOREVER APPRECIATED !

Not all students had poor or wrong mathematics teachers! Till now its my passion and I'm actually studying it but it is truly difficult! Abstract algebra, Real analysis are all mind cracking with their abstract concept, requires thinking like a genius that you haven't become... ODE is too wide and the latter part of it, hmmmm..

The fact is that whether it's Isaac Newton or John Venn that's your teacher, twill still be difficult

The same can be said about most branches of advanced pure science.

But it doesn't mean the poster you quoted is wrong per se. Advanced pure sciences are not for people with average intelligence. However, the basics of science which practically everyone needs in this current civilization is not above the pay grade of anyone with even slightly below average intelligence.

Matrix, Permutation and Combination are not difficult. Introductory probability isn't. For example, almost everyone knows you shouldn't use put a fork in a wall outlet. How many in Nigeria know the physics behind it? If most of the population had good teachers, that wouldn't be a question.

I hate quadratic equation

quadratic equation is very easy compared to the above listed. Hell. I thought I was good at math during my secondary school because I d chop quadratic equation.

I advise students in school not to hate mathematics even though they intend studying non-math courses.

They would regret it. The best jobs out there are quant dominated.

Lord knows I dislike Indices and.... what is the name of the other topic sef, I have even forgotten.
