lastempero: Nigerian police will not write any cheque. This is Hw its done, the money will be deducted from source and the minister of finance through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice will be serve the court judgment. So on next government budget, it will be deducted before the budgetory allocation get to the nigeria police. Chikena. 1 Like |

Mrquincy: First the Government (i.e. PMB) has to agree, then instruct IG to pay sums. Whether IG will obey his boss is another question entirely. OK, if they disagree, Gov't can appeal the judgement, which can drag on for years. Last - which is more to your question - the prosecution is OYO. Unfortunately, thus Gov't has proven more disobedient to court orders, which means "ain't sh1t gonna happen". It's up to us to elect the type of people that will follow court orders and due process. 1 Like |
