Now you are getting the point. Already Anambra is building an airport, Ebonyi has finalised arrangement to start the construction of its airport next year. Let every state develop any infrastructure they deem fit. nnamdijonathan: |

I have always explained to you all very well on the best possible way to gain from this union. The federal government of Nigeria will never develop igboland even if all your ancestors are president. They cannot do what they are not taught to do. The best you can get from the centre is one or two projects that they will inflate to appease ndigbo. Who will develop igboland? The answer is simple, you and I. If we keep waiting for these people who do not know a thing but to build roads whose active life is just 4-years. Then I think I should renounce my fatherland and look for how to join the people of Lesotho. I have advised before, when the election time is getting nearer, you will start getting to know who will win and who will lose. If you have carefully checked and studied it, call upon the winning team and tell him what you want. Since the winning team isn't too sure of them winning, they will sign your demands. These demands shouldn't be about your brother being the senate President but projects that will ameliorate the current situation the east is currently suffering. NB: Don't push too much because it might spoil the fun. Now after your winning team has won, you start building your own political party. I assume APGA is the best bet. Try and make the locals have the party membership form so that you will be able to sack all the present heads with the help of your local players. The next thing is plan for 2023. Do igbos want to be President 2023? Eeerm, we can choose to go not by weighing our options in the next couple of years. The truth is, we are pushing for a project based economic system that will turnaround the east. We will first infiltrate every nook and cranny of the east and make it solely one party where every political office holder will sign before being put out for election that this is what we want or else you will be impeached or recalled. This will go a long way in having a common economic and political interest. If we are looking for Biafra or a better economic system in Nigeria, by this time, we would have had a standard system to push for anything because we have all the machinery in place to push for it. This political system will make it easy for economic integration between the different states of the east. All these confusion about who to vote in 2019 should be studied carefully before it turns sour. 3 Likes 1 Share |

What pains me most about this country is dat they don't like good things. They don't want Nigeria to progress. Our leaders want us to remain in darkness and continue mumuishly voting for them. What is wrong in making South east good? Won't they generate more money for this country? What is wrong in building a river port in se or train stations over here since the ethnic group found in this area deal so much in trading which will generate traffick in Nigeria and that is more money for Nigeria. What kind of country is this. Oya allow the people to build river port for themselves without ur help. Mbanu.. They will constrict it with their evil policies and it will die a natural death. This country is seriously evil... Well y will they care.. Oyel plenty nah.. 3 Likes 1 Share |

spyder880: Take a trip to Ikwo, around the new federal university, Ndufu Alike (FUNAI) in Ebonyi state. You'll be awestruck at how people are erecting 3 and 4 storey hostels all over the place, as if the buildings cost a few thousand naira only 5 Likes 2 Shares |

Purehuman: Correct. This must not necessarily be followed to the letter, but it's somewhat a guideline. Therefore can we schedule a meeting this December somewhere in Alaigbo. Speaking and writing are truly actions but they are not enough in some critical situations. And we have had a robust debate since the creation of this trade. We're suggesting so much things to be done. I am convinced that they will be best achieved by us. This is how to start, in fact, we have started. If not like this, how? 4 Likes 1 Share |

Ndigbo we have to accept the reality that only us can truely develope our land. Presidency, vice presidency cannot do much for us. We have to go on aggressive privatization and concession drive of all critical infrastructures in the south east. It’s time for pragmatism. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Columba90: I support every move geared towards developing our region. I support every process that will give us the respect that we deserve over the years. I am ready to go to all the rural areas in the east to create this movement. We can get everyone to start playing the right politics that will make us gainers all the time. The problem with us is that we don't like going through the process of nation building or we don't know how to do it. We tend to support other people without getting anything from them in return. Even when we make demands, we don't go through the process of making them come into fruition. The development and emancipation of our people must start from the scratch and not from the top. We must start getting it right from the very small area to the whole of igboland. It is until everywhere in igboland come to a consensus that this is what we want that we can get to somewhere. I can't believe that we are getting freaked out by the shallow promises they keep dishing into our plates. Promises that no one has ever kept since 1970 but we still choose to believe Nigeria will develop alaigbo. 2 Likes 1 Share |

horsepower101: This is someone thinking practically. Nigeria has shown countless times that we are not important in the country's plan. What we can agree the winners of any election is for projects and asset concessions to make developm in the easier for us. We keep harping on the federal government to build rail transport in the east. To be frank, it is a good idea but we need to develop our own rail system. This is because the rail system the federal government will build will not be in consonance with the true needs of our business design in the future. If we develop a good political and economic system that is in the right page with the federal government. I am proposing that we redesign our interstate roads to make movement of people, goods and services easier. We need a major road linking economic epicentres of the east easily. We can only get these things when we twerk with the federal government. We need to start having real discussions that are more profitable in the nearest future than having to argue about our choice of leadership in this country. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Purehuman: Thank you. You are a breath of fresh air. My idea for Ndigbo is to create an economic driver that is totally insulated from Nigerian politics. We need to create a properly structured development fund whose main goal is to invest in all the major critical infrastructures that the south east is lacking. We can do this. It is possible. Just have someone like Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala run it. 2 Likes 1 Share |
Re: . by Purehuman(m): 7:45pm On Oct 23, 2018 |
horsepower101: You are such a pragmatic forward thinking genius. A very strong political system that can birth a strong developmental fund commission is the way when we infiltrate the political rank and file of the east. Because we will be looking at issues from a broad point of view and with likeminds who will not be playing the game of opposition in developmental matters. This masterstroke alone coupled with willing citizens of alaigbo, we are set on a path of greatness. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Funnicator: What you said has been one of my biggest challenge. How to get the powers that be aware of all the great ideas that we bring up on this forum. This is something we need to solve. I want us to discuss this and find ways to sensitize people like Okonjo-Iweala and soludo to help us out. I know Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has a media representative on Nairaland. I have see them release statements in the past. |

Funnicator: These people in government are not gods but humans who had a mission to govern the present Igbo communities today. We can also dictate the kind of government we want by slowly bringing down every other political party in the east. The major driving force to get these things going is the development of alaigbo that will benefit not just us but our children to come. An environment that will make it easy for one dream and make it reality. These guys changing the course of their nation's history had one thing in mind, CHANGE. |

Funnicator: Sometimes we give these leaders too much credence over nothing. Some of these people aren't smarter than us or have this big dream like we do. A person who thinks big will be seen through his projects and policies. We are led by people who do not task their minds and that of their aides in ruling the states in the east. For instance, the kalus, the elechis, the udenwas and co did not think of a possibility of a bigger Igbo economy that can brought into reality through economic integration. 2 Likes |

horsepower101: I have a suggestion, we can float a political party with just our ideas here as the manifesto and unique selling points, print fliers and distribute everywhere, float a radio station or advertise on the existing ones with a wide reach in the south east. We can host radio and TV chat programs aimed at introduction of a different mindset to the masses and from there aim to capture political power ward to ward, LG to LG, state to state. How much will it cost to float a political party? Any ideas? 1 Like |

ckenneths: Ckenneths, honestly on Sunday before Nnamdi Kanu gave his speech, I was thinking to myself, what if we had an Economic IPOB equivalent. An organization that has passion for the rapid development of igboland. Imagine what south east will look like in 10 years. 4 Likes 1 Share |

ckenneths: To be honest with you, I will advice you not to waste your money on creating any political party in Nigeria because of one major reason, THIS IS NIGERIA. Youth democratic party is a clear example of what you are trying to do but, see were the party is today, nobody hears about it. Only strong influence from top and influential Naija politicians can help you. 1 Like |
