There's a caravan of migrants approaching America coming to play into Trump's hands and play well for him. I've never seen a president as lucky as him!
Yea I think it's playing out well for the Republicans in general. This makes the mid term all about Immigration as a fundamental issue, and it doesn't do the Democrats any favour. Recall that besides other issues such as Jobs, Supreme Court etc Candidate Trump basically got elected on Immigration.

I feel I should start crying already. Trump gaining in the midterms is way more than I can stomach! In fact, the Republicans not loosing the Senate is urgh, and it's feeling like they won't even lose the lower house.

My hope is that the Democrats get out and vote!

Trump: 'I'm a nationalist'

https://www.politico.com/story/2018/10/22/trump-nationalist-926745

President Donald Trump on Monday evening proudly asserted that he is a “nationalist” — a designation some of his fiercest critics have previously wielded against him as an attack on what they deem nativist policy pursuits by his administration.

“You know, they have a word, it sort of became old-fashioned. It’s called a nationalist,” Trump said at a campaign event in Houston, where he rallied voters to support Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) in November’s midterm elections.

Leaders that have used the word nationalist in the past:

Napoleon
Adolf Hitler
Kim Il-sung
Benito Mussolini
Colonel Gaddafi
Fidel Castro
Mohammed bin Salman
Vladimir Putin

...very soon Donald Trump will complete the word nationalist by saying he is a 'white nationalist'...it's only a matter of time...

The house is a done deal and the Senate is still a toss up. The record crowd in Texas and Georgia is giving the rep headache.

Our own Nnamdi Azikiwe and obafemi Awolowo also described themselves as nationalists. I guess they were evil then? You liberals are big jokers, You go and cherry pick things and try to pass it off as the standard norm. So you are claiming that because all these bad guys you named up there called themselves nationalists then anyone who describes themselves as nationalist must be evil. Gaddafi, Saddam Hussein and Osama bin laden described themselves as Muslims, does that make anyone who described himself as a Muslim bad? Hitler and mussolini also described themselves as Christian, does that make everyone who says I am a Christian bad? Kim il sung was Buddhist so anyone who describes themselves as Buddhist must be evil then. This your argument is just a fallacy of faulty generalization

And as for all the talk about democrats high enthusiasm levels for the midterms? That's being put to the test right now and it is been proving to be just another figment of these liberal's imaginations. The stats for the early voting in competitive states are out and Republicans are outpacing Democrats in early voting in all states. And the amazing thing is that Republicans are also known to traditionally outnumber Democrats on election day voting. If the GOP is beating Democrats in the early votes, then this is real bad news for democrats. They are gonna get a thorough trashing at the polls. These are not data from right leaning news sites, this came from the very liberal NBC news. Read for yourself in the link below.

Ouch!! another Fact punch you just gave him. The left are out of touch when it comes to Nationalism. In their bigoted mind anyone who acclaims to be a nationalist must be racist and evil. Even the dictionary definition of Nationalism is clear and simple - and that is, love and loyalty to one's own country. But trust the left heralded by the liberal media, because over the years they have been working tirelessly to change the meaning into something evil. Also, Remember what Candidate Trump said at the Republican National Convention at Cleveland when he was successfully nominated as the Presidential candidate, He said, "Americanism - not Globalism, shall be our Credo!"

Nationalism refers to the feeling that your country is superior to all other countries, despite its flaws.

Patriotism refers to love and support for your country, wanting to improve its flaws to make it better.

Also..
.
Patriotism is when love of your own people comes first;
nationalism, when hate for people other than your own comes first - Charles de Gaulle

Secret Service intercepts suspicious packages sent to Obama, Hillary Clinton

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/suspicious-package-found-at-clintons-home-police-say

The Secret Service said Wednesday that officers "intercepted" two suspicious packages identified as "potential explosive devices" sent to former President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, as reports of other potential threats against political and media targets led to evacuations in a rapidly evolving security scare.

Local reports said the Florida building housing the office of Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, former Democratic Party chairwoman, was evacuated amid reports of a possible suspicious package. Police in the area seemed to confirm the incident in a Twitter alert.

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/suspicious-package-found-near-new-york-home-bill-hillary-clinton-n923816

Suspicious packages that appear to be working explosives were sent to Hillary Clinton, former President Barack Obama, and CNN's New York newsroom, triggering a nationwide investigation Wednesday and bi-partisan condemnation.

The first package intercepted was addressed to the former Democratic presidential candidate and discovered on Tuesday near the Clintons' home in Chappaqua, New York, a suburb of New York City. A second was addressed to Obama and intercepted Wednesday in Washington, D.C., the FBI and Secret Service said in a statement.

The third was addressed to former CIA Director John Brennan and discovered Wednesday at CNN's base in Manhattan. The newsroom was immediately evacuated and the NYPD bomb squad was summoned.

A San Diego building housing an office for Sen. Kamala Harris and the San Diego Union-Tribune was evacuated Wednesday after a suspicious package was found.

The packages were discovered atop a trash can outside the newspaper’s office, San Diego police Officer Billy Hernandez told reporters. The paper’s immigration reporter Kate Morrissey shared a photo of the packages to social media following the evacuation. A press representative for Harris has yet to issue a statement on the incident.

I already explained the correlation between "nationalism" and violence. Nationalism according to the "reformed republican party" under the leadership of Trump, connotes hate for Obama, Clinton, Democratic Party, media, immigrants, Muslims (poor ones), LGBT and others with different opinions, in that order.

When you listen to an average election campaign speech by republicans it's words like lock him/her up, stops immigrants from coming and such rhetorics that fires up the crowd.

The republicans dont even bother to run on issues anymore. Just anti-Obama, Clinton, and Pelosi advertisements are enough to rally the Base.

President Trump and the Republican Party are not against Immigrants, Trump had stated clearly he's against Illegal Immigration, and besides the Democrats once stood on that platform too. And what did you say Nationalism connoted? That's your own fictitious definition you just made up. Trump rolled back Obama's economic policies and guess what? The economy is doing brilliantly, and Obozo is still sweating trying to take credit for it. You guys should just take a pill and chill, November 6, we'll know how far.

If the Kavanaugh and Caravan situations didn't blow up in the lefts face, if they weren't sliding so bad in the polls, if early voting results weren't so disappointing, if people actually came to Obama's and Biden's rallies. . . . Those "packages" wouldn't have arrived today.
