Joebie: Is Ebere Eze our captain and best player? I still say you were wrong. The boy should wait his turn like everyone else. I trust Rohr in that he wants the best for us. Did we cry about Collins? Rohr found him without our help so lets keep giving the uncle his respect. 3 Likes |

MOSES LINKED WITH SHOCK MOVE TO MANCHESTER UNITED RYAN DARBY @RyanDarby_ 22 hours ago 1,141 reads 2 min read Clive Mason/Getty Images Sport Victor Moses is reportedly attracting interest from Manchester United, according to the Express. The report claims that United have been named as favourites to land the Nigerian, following suggestions he could be on the move in January. Moses is said to be considering his immediate future at Chelsea after falling out of favour under Maurizio Sarri. Jan Kruger/Getty Images Sport The former Crystal Palace man has fallen victim to the change of formation implemented by Sarri, having been a regular under former head coach Antonio Conte. The ex-Chelsea boss reinvented Moses as a right wing-back and he managed to cement himself in the Blues side after several loan spells away from the club. He now once again looks destined to leave Stamford Bridge in the search of regular game time. Moses joined Chelsea in 2012 but spent time on loan at Liverpool, Stoke and West Ham before breaking through at Stamford Bridge. During his time with the Blues he has won the Premier League, FA Cup and the Europa League. https://www.google.com.ng/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.legit.ng/amp/1200052-man-united-emerge-favourites-sign-unsettled-chelsea-star-victor-moses.html&ved=0ahUKEwi53Mm3taHeAhXQ_qQKHVMrCAUQqUMIUTAF&usg=AOvVaw1BLuT2tZnI2_UUOS2C_2_f 1 Like |

I don't know why one mischievously omitted this. Premier League giants Man United leading the race to sign unsettled Chelsea ace Victor Moses Author: Uchenna Ajah UPDATED: 21 HOURS AGO Premier League giants Manchester United are leading the race to seal a switch for Nigeria’s Victor Moses from Chelsea in the winter transfer window. According to a UK Sun report, the Jose Mourinho tutored-side are keen to land the 27-year-old versatile player, who has fallen out of the pecking order at Stamford Bridge. At the last count, Moses who represented Nigeria at the summer World Cup in Russia, has only started once game for the Blues in the EFL Cup this campaign. On the other hand, the former Super Eagles star has featured four times as a substitute in Chelsea’s Premier League matches and is reportedly eager to look elsewhere for regular football in January. Reacting about the plight of the former Nigerian international, Alex Apati of Ladbrokes admitted that former Chelsea manager, Mourinho could move for the versatile player in the forthcoming winter transfer window. "Moses has struggled for game time since Sarri's Stamford Bridge arrival and amazingly it looks as though former boss Jose Mourinho could make a shock move for the Nigerian." London-based Crystal Palace are in the second spot to land Moses among top contenders at 10/3 in the betting. Interestingly, a switch to Selhurst Park would see Moses, who had previously played on loan at West Ham and Liverpool returning to where his professional career kicked-off. Equally, three Premier League clubs Everton, Wolves and Leicester are also in the running for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) winner. However, the possibility of Moses rejoining his former club in the Championship, Wigan is priced at 25/1 at the moment. Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously had reported that former Nigeria international Victor Moses is reportedly considering a move away from the Stamford Bridge. The 27-year-old has fallen down the pecking order since the arrival of Italian born tactician Maurizio Sarri this summer. He was one of the key players under former boss Antonio Conte having being converted to a wing back and flourished in the 3-5-2 formation. The new handler however prefers the 4-3-3 pattern - and the ex-Super Eagles star doesn't fit into the bill according to Goal.com. https://www.google.com.ng/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://readchelsea.com/2018/10/24/moses-linked-with-shock-move-to-manchester-united/%3Famp%3D1&ved=0ahUKEwi53Mm3taHeAhXQ_qQKHVMrCAUQqUMITTAE&usg=AOvVaw0HgV7mV7Lik3iLPJP-jTBl&cf=1 2 Likes |

Boxing: Don’t Use Joshua’s Name For Hype, Wilder Warned By Our Reporter Last updated Oct 21, 2018 The prospect of Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder finally meeting seemed to have hit the deadest of ends in recent times. It appears boxing promoter Hearn has lost all patience with the WBC world champion and claimed it’s clear Wilder doesn’t want a fight with Joshua and is instead using the Brit’s name for notoriety. “I’m sick of tired of idiots out there who thinks he wants the fight. How stupid do you have to be to think Deontay Wilder wants this fight (against Joshua)? “Just listen to what he’s saying. Boring. Boring. Boring. Mate f*** off. Mate (Wilder) you ain’t earned three million bucks. F*** sake. “A row of beans over here, you could walk up any high street, any town, any town in the world and ask who Deontay Wilder is and no one has a f****** clue who he is. “He ain’t even going to do 300 (thousand) pay per views on Showtime (against Fury) and you want 60/40 (against Joshua)? Idiot. “Don’t waste our time. Don’t use Joshua’s name to gain profile and publicity. F****** waste of time. If that’s what he really thinks please don’t f****** waste my time. I’m really f****** busy. “I’m busy, no time for time-wasters, give me someone who wants to fight Joshua, not talk about it to raise their profile. https://sportinglife.ng/boxing-dont-use-joshuas-name-for-hype-wilder-warned/ |

Eagles Would Present A Strong Squad Against Seychelles–Rohr By Our Reporter Last updated Oct 24, 2018 Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr has assured that a strong squad would be assembled for the team’s last Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Seychelles in Nigeria. “We would still present it’s best squad for the Seychelles game even if it has qualified before then, noting that the game would be used to continue to develop the team and prepare for the Nations Cup. The Eagles defeated the Pirates at home 3-0 with goals from Odion Ighalo, Ahmed Musa and chidozie Awaziem. Rohr has assured home-based players of the opportunity to play for the national team provided their performance can better the ones already in the team. Rohr stated this at the presentation of a two-wheeler to him by the Simba Group at Sheraton Hotel on Tuesday night. While stating that some local stars have been penciled down for invitation in the near future, he however lamented that it is impossible to bring in the local players at this time because the league has been on a long recess. “The home-based players will get their chance in the team if they can show that they are better than the ones currently in the team. But the players are not playing regularly so they can be in the national team,” he added. He urged Nigerians to be patient with Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho, who he described as the best for now. He also said he would give another goalkeeper a look-in if the goalkeeper trainer gives the go ahead. “I think we should give Uzoho a chance even if he makes mistakes in games because as a young player, he is the solution for the future. He need everyones support and we will give him all the backing he need to excel. Read Also: Rohr inspects Asaba Stadium ahead Seychelles game “Just like we gave odion Ighalo another chance after making mistakes, I guess Uzoho also needs to be given the time to blossom. The goalkeeping position is a delicate one and we don’t need to change goalkeepers all the time,” the coach told Sportinglife.ng. He also lamented the unavailability of more suitable playing Stadia in Nigeria, adding that the team would like to play in Abuja and Lagos. https://sportinglife.ng/eagles-would-present-a-strong-squad-against-seychelles-rohr/ |

Rohr reveals player that might never play for Super Eagles Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, has admitted that it would be hard to wrestle talented Queens Park Rangers’ teen prospect, Ebere Eze, from England after his debut for the U20s. Ebere trained with Rohr’s team during their camping exercise in England and even took part in a test game organised among the players, after the cancellation of a planned friendly game. Unlike Ola Aina who has since gone on to establish himself as a full fledged international since that camp exercise in London, Eze wasn’t approached by Rohr since then despite his fine form for QPR in the English Championship. England has since called him up to their U20 team and Rohr told KweseESPN in an interview: “So could he still be in Nigeria’s plans? Yes. “But it will be a long process before authorisation for him to play for us.” http://dailypost.ng/2018/10/25/rohr-reveals-player-might-never-play-super-eagles/amp/?utm_source=operamini&utm_medium=feednews&utm_campaign=operamini_feednews |

Seyi Akinwunmi: We want Real Madrid’s Marvin Akinlabi for the Super Eagles By Josephine Azubuike. igeria Football Federation (NFF) vice president Seyi Akinwunmi has declared that Real Madrid youngster Marvin Akinlabi will soon have the chance to play for the Super Eagles. The Spanish-born 18-year-old, who is of Nigerian and Korean descent, scored for Real Madrid’s junior side in the UEFA Youth League against Viktoria Plzen in midweek. The talented midfielder could have his pick of which country he wants to represent at international level, but Nigeria are confident of convincing him to don the famous green and white. “I know him Marvin Akinlabi, he scored a goal in the UEFA Youth League [on Tuesday],” Seyi Akinwunmi said. “We are speaking with everybody but it is not everybody that wants to play for Nigeria, it is not everybody that their parents want them to play for Nigeria. “We are monitoring every single Nigerian kid out there, the ones that are good enough and who are willing to play for Nigeria, we are speaking to all of them, even those who are not willing. “Definitely Akinlabi is in our plans.” https://www.today.ng/sport/football/seyi-akinwunmi-real-madrids-marvin-akinlabi-super-eagles-165506/amp 1 Like |
