Forgiveness, are you buying this FAKE news?

Jose Mourinho couldn't even keep Moses as a squad player at Chelsea; now you're telling me that he desperately needs him at Man Utd
It doesn't add up, if you ask me.

O pari

Which fake news? It is all over British media. Mourinho sold Mata despite the fact he was Chelsea's best player that season. Is it not the same Mata he is using in Man United?

Abegi, free Moses. I know if it is rumoured one player is going to Man United, u no go argue. grin

All things considered, Pedro shouldn't be above Moses in the pecking order. I think being an ex Barca player is playing some kinda role on that one.

Are you serious? Do you mean the Pedro..? shocked grin

Hahahaha! Very funny. Pedro understands Sari style better than Victor Moses.

Seyi Akinwunmi: We want Real Madrid’s Marvin Akinlabi for the Super Eagles

By Josephine Azubuike.

igeria Football Federation (NFF) vice president Seyi Akinwunmi has declared that Real Madrid youngster Marvin Akinlabi will soon have the chance to play for the Super Eagles.

https://www.today.ng/sport/football/seyi-akinwunmi-real-madrids-marvin-akinlabi-super-eagles-165506/amp

If this is true, then Onigbinde deserves a heavy slap. After throwing an in-form, senior team player in Eze away he is now "monitoring" an unknown obscure youth team player.

At least Plasma TV's can be used to watch SE matches in order to enjoy the game well.

What use is Anthony Joshua to the SE? Does the team need a bouncer? grin

I will blame Rohr if we loose Ebere to England.

We had it in our own hands. But Rohr and maybe "the careless NFF" decided to let this gem Slip off our hands.

The gem decided on somewhere else. He didn't have to honor that call up.

Bros, I have been following Pedro's career since his Barca days. He ain't that good. He's a better finisher than VicMo, but Moses beats in many other areas, such as providing defensive cover, ball retention and holding up players.

Just watch Chelsea's game and see why Pedro is ahead of Vicmo in Sari's setting.

The bottom line is, both VicMo and Pedro have fallen down the pecking order. Chelsea's first 11 comprises of Hazard and Williams on the flanks with either Morata or Giroud in the middle. Pedro and Moses are both benchwarmers.

My recommendation to VicMo, if I were advising him, would be to stick it out at Chelsea. Next summer, Antonio Conte would probably go to Real Madrid (or elsewhere) and I am pretty sure that VicMo would be in his plans.

That's not true. Pedro was a starter before he got injured.

It was Hazard and Pedro before Williams.

Foolish pride is the context man. Same reason we would say if a player turned down Nigeria in the past we should never forgive them even when they reconsider. U brought in Eze.

You know you were talking about Eze so why change your tune now? Because you never heard me or even Rohr for that matter give that as a reason not to go for a player. U forget Ebuehi turned down his first call up and Rohr called him again even though there was outcry.

If he refuses the call he would likely be a go for the Seychelles match. He didn't want to wait and I respect that but it is not the coach's fault

Super Eagles have moved four spots in the latest FIFA Rankings and are now 44th in the world and third in Africa after beating Libya twice in 2019 AFCON qualifiers.

The Eagles are now top of their qualifying group for next year’s AFCON after they won six points off Libya – 4-0 in Uyo and 3-2 in Sfax.

Only Tunisia and Senegal are now ahead of Nigeria in Africa.

South Africa, who the Eagles face in a reverse clash next month in continuation of the AFCON qualifying series, stay 73rd in the world and 15th in Africa.

Group E bottom team Seychelles are 188th in the world and 51st in Africa.

This has nothing to do with feeding, dont misconstrue that message. I meant ultra professionalism. For goodness sake, these players chose this career path for one major reason(the pay), the fun part of it is secondary. So if u were in Ebere Eze's, u would decline the English call for risible reason that u are waiting for a Nigerian call up. So as a professional (say architect), u are torn between two job offers, one from ur state and another from Abia. While ur state keeps over looking u for some less competent guys, fortunately u get a call up from Abia that uv been hired, u would confidently turn down Abia just to prove ur loyalty to ur so called state who has been neglecting u? Den, u go home and tell ur family u gotta stay till ur state offer comes up? Dude u are funny.

Don't worry, the season just started and Pedro isn't gonna be injured all season long. So we shall see who'll eventually own that position, once Sarri settles on what his best team is.

Derby County manager Frank Lampard has hailed Chelsea's decision to permit Nigerian defender Fikayo Tomori and Mason Mount to play against their parent club in next week's Carabao Cup clash at Stamford Bridge.

Tomori, an England U21 international, joined the Rams on a season-long loan from Chelsea in the summer and has gone on to make 16 successive starts in all competitions, including three in the Carabao Cup.

Carabao Cup rules allow for clubs in the competition to make such agreements for players to appear against their parent clubs and Chelsea have accepted the Rams’ request for the pair to feature.

''I am really pleased for these young Chelsea lads, who have come through the system and whose dream it is to play at Stamford Bridge," said Lampard to Sky Sports.

"Probably not for Derby - that's kind of strange for them - but at the moment they are giving us great service but we respect the fact they are Chelsea players.

"I have to completely say thank you to Chelsea because it was their call, their decision. I think they have seen the bigger picture in terms of what a great experience it will be for their players.

"I am very thankful to Chelsea - they didn't have to do that - and I think it is a classy move from them."

Tomori has played only once for Chelsea in a competitive match, against Leicester City on the final day of the 2015-2016 season when he replaced Branislav Ivanović in the 60th minute.

The coach also said there is still more work to be done on the pitch of the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba if it were to host a Super Eagles game.

Rangers staged a stunning comeback to beat Pillars 4-2 on penalties Wednesday in Asaba with Rohr watching from the stands.

“I am satisfied with the match, but I didn’t really see one player better than the players I have,” Rohr told SCORENigeria

“I saw somebody in the first half (Kano Pillars striker Nguwua Nyima), but I didn’t see him again in the second half.

“I saw some good players in the Rangers team in the second half, but I cannot say this must go to the Super Eagles.”

He also said the pitch at the stadium needs a lot more work to be up to standard.

“It’s a nice stadium but they have to work more on the pitch,” he said.

“The pitch is not really good for Super Eagles games.”

Rohr equally said he would have wished the suspense-filled final at least went into extra-time.

“It was an interesting match with alot suspense. One team led 3-0 and they were the better team in the first half and then the other team came back in the second half,” he said of the absorbing cup final,” he commented.

“It was a big surprise.

“It showed that in football it is never finished, you have to fight to win the game.

“But I would have wanted extra-time. Penalties immediately, that’s cruel especially for the team who were losing.
