Last night i carry one vehicle owner go rescue her car. Mm2 50k. She said this is d 4th time she is paying to get her car back. Mm1, mm2 and international airport combined. Same driver.
As we are heading back to mende where i picked her, the moment we got to ikeja bridge she ask me to turn back so she can tell d driver something.
We got there, now they were putting air back in the deflated tires. At that spot she took the car keys from d driver, then his phone.

I have been using uber to work for 3 weeks now for some personal reasons. I have used uber for about 39 trips within the 3 weeks. 31 out of the 39 drivers I encountered are crooks. The trip maps always show something I don't understand for the same trips o. These guys are just out to cheat. I am tired of reporting them to uber. Why do we have dishonest people everywhere in this country. Even the female drivers.

Anything good is never cheap. No driver will cheat if the fare was fair to both sides. On Uber, only the rider is happy. The real crook is Uber.

55k for what? Are you learning to drive lorry?

My sister learned at a driving school around yaba for 20k (2 weeks training). An thats because I don't have time to teach her.

She was already driving herself before the 2 weeks end.

I do not agree with you that 90% of then are fraudulent, the new uber app is the problem, its only comparable with Iphones, Uber have even recently been telling all drivers to get iPhone 6 and above. The Techo and infinix brand are guilty of this location change or zig zag movement, its happens when drivers update their phone operating system, without calibrating their compass on Google map. And most of them are not even aware of this. To drivers in the house please learn to recalibrate your compass as often as possible......God bless your hustle.
Hi. Please how do i calibrate my phone with google map? I am having this same issue?

Hello professionals in the House, please i need your honest & candid advice,

I am a graduate and presently work with a firm (8am - 5pm) salary job, with pay of 40k.
A good Samaritan is willing to offer me a vehicle for Uber @ 30k weekly on hired-purchase, If i take this offer i would only work effectively at weekends (Sat & Sun) and probably at evenings daily after office.

I don't want to quit my present job now. Would i be able to meet up with this weekly payment rate with this schedule of mine ?

Please i need your honest advise

A ride in a corolla or Hyundai with a noisy wheel is good and shouldn't come cheap right? The driver isn't happy so he resorted to cheating right? Are you supporting fraud? The problem isn't uber or rider, the problem is you and other drivers that turned ride-sharing into a full time employment.

Rules for MM1 and international, pickup only at carpark. Airport taxi men at MM1 are not smiling at all. taxify won't pay for parking If you don't start trip from these 2 carparks

For MM2, pickup at the designated pickup point but be very careful not to stay on the zebra crossing.

No waiting around the airport, not even to receive a call or check your flat tyre

Don’t take it personal, I still maintain that Uber rate will frustrate drivers to do the unthinkable. I don’t know how to cheat so I quit Uber like 6months ago. Taxify has been doing it for me. Talking about full time employment, I have a Bsc banking and finance and MSc Strategic Business Management degree . If u can help me with a job, I don’t mind sending my cv to u. The truth is I’m tired of the ride sharing already. Thanks in advance

So we plenty? Having gone through the rigor of education even up to MSc (industrial Chemistry), I have to settle with e-hailing, it is really frustrating... But brother we won't give up, it's just a phase, a phase that teaches humble beginning and humility. It will end in praise.

At the international Airport, I was lucky to get away with 3k. It was my first trip from Ikorodu at 6:45 P. M, got there late (cool. Na d money dem collect from me though I no gree make dem tow am, I negotiate chapaly. It's part of the learning curve.

It is the kind of car maybe with a/c put on grin to be use for the driving lessons and besides AA is a premium driving school. There are cheaper ones with semi dead cars for driving lessons.
However,is it auto or manual? Because it could be one of the determining factor of such amount apart from the type of car

I need to share this experience or better still advice to the house(especially newbie on ehailing) since have also gained from stories and experiences from people on this forum. I got a request at mma1 airport today, I called the rider a female to know where she was, when I got to where she was which is just at the arrival, I decided to wait for her to come into the car since she was very close to me. Before I knew it men of the underworld clipped my tyre as she was about to enter. I said oga this is my passenger right in my car that am leaving now, she was close to me that was why I decided to wait some seconds for her to come in. The guy said I was not supposed to park at all to pick a passenger. To cut the long story short they took the vehicle to their office gave me a ticket of 10000. I begged and begged infact this should be my longest begging if there is any grammar like that. I eventually paid the money. So please like I said for those just coming in incase you find yourself at the airport mma1 in particular make sure you are very careful and smart if possible use the car park. Those guys are actually terrible and heartless. You need to see the way the were impounding vehicles today even while I was leaving their office more cars were still coming. I even heard from sources after my experience that those guys themselves now make request and setup Uber drivers. Please guys try as much as possible to avoid them you may be wrong you may also be right they don't care at all.
Thank you so much for this advice and shared experience.it was informative.

Yes o, I've got MSc Psychology. Did a contract job that wasn't worth it for 2 years of my life, I got tired, resigned, and managed to buy a car I plan to use for the e-hailing business, and someone is here saying "it's the fault of people that do it full time", like good jobs are readily available or driving people around and taking orders from rude riders is such a spectacular thing to be desired.

In this country, there are just too many insensitive and unintelligent people in better positions. That's why nothing works.
