I was an avid TVD and Originals fan even when both show became shitty with uninspiring and vapid story line as the seasons rolled by and the script-writers ran out of good plots to script, but I won't be following Legacies because it'll be end up like its siblings, that's if it doesn't doesn't get canceled after 2 seasons.


It's still going to be the same storyline like TVD and Originals, with a heavy touch of romance and love embedded in it. Then, I personally dislike the clueless and highly annoying Hope Mikaelson. I can't stand her rare strain of irritation. If it's the same Hope character in Originals that's she's bringing to the table, the show's gonna be a total borefest.

PINE GAP
For a show that tried to be interesting without revealing anything, it did pretty well, since Pine gap is an actual place (A part of the global five eyes surveillance network) located in Australia.
It is an Aussie American nationalistic show filled with a lot of technical jargons, but beneath that is a political thriller that will probably interest you.

Watched Episode 1 of The haunting of hill house.

This is clearly how a slow burner series should be, not all those nonsense ones(sharp objects and gang ) way i go sleep off, phone go fall from my hand screen go crack join.

The first 3 seasons of Originals were good to me, the directors started losing it after season 3 because they ran out of interesting storylines to keep the series going. They're wise enough to discover this and intelligently ended the show soon. You might still enjoy it and even Legacies. Don't use my personal choices to judge, though.

I feel exactly the same as you, Julie Plec and her cohorts really did a number on those series and turned them into a shitty merry go round clusterfvck, and you're right about Hope being annoying, she'll probably turn out to be another silly Elena with people bending over backwards to help her. But the overly optimistic part of me won and I downloaded the first episode this morning, smh will probably give it a few episodes.

I don't know why they had to introduce elements of the supernatural into such a practical crime drama. Kinda ruined the vibe imo. I get that it's from the novel, but I expected them to skip book 3 for the obvious fact that it was the weakest of the trilogy. Still an entertaining watch anyhow, but it could have been so much more.

American Vandal has been cancelled by Netflix, but there's a tiny bit of hope: Netflix is currently looking for buyers. So, season 3 could still go ahead if Netflix succeeded in shopping the show off to another platform/service/network.
