Me I don't care abt how many terms ATIKU believes he want to run, wen he enters that sit and decides to be LIFELESS, we vote him out buh for now, buhari should go back to his impotent and barren cows as well as buy miyetti Alla chairmanship form as to continue his imaginary second tenure from there...

I don’t think it’s fair to generalise it as Yorubas.
Millions of Yorubas are supporting Atiku. Just check Twitter.
It is APC and Tinubu inspired publications. Not the entire Yoruba tribe.

Be honest who would like to be president for just one term who not in Nigeria for sure.

No one! Ibos were trooping behind Saraki and appeared to have adopted Saraki as their candidate in the PDP primary. Atiku needed to change the momentum to his favour. There are three items Atiku put in front of Ibos ahead of the PDP primaries. The only region at the primary that had all or nearly all of its delegates vote Atiku was SE. 1) Atiku will select Ekweremadu as VP. 2) Atiku will do one term and handover to Ibo VP. 3) Atiku will restructure Nigeria.

Of course Atiku must have 2 terms. Everyone will like to maximize the opportunity of being President.

Precisely why Buhari himself also must complete his 8yr tenure.

Atiku is not looking for trust, he doesn't care about that. Atiku just wants Presidency, at whatever cost, period.

They should leave him alone. Let him make the mistake of not committing to one term when he is elected, and get the Jonathan treatment. By that time, south west, south south and south east would all vote for apc.

It is very very Stuupid, extremely naive and delusional for anyone to ever expect, propose or even believe that any elected President would willingly serve one term in office just to appease another person or any group. It is the dumbest and most unrealistic expectation.
The one who expects an elected leader to serve one term in order to please him or his group or his ethnic group is the real idi.ot.
Southeast leaders should focus on how to immediately rescue this country first and foremost from the plague of Buhari , and stop all these silly , disgraceful antics.

The effort to defeat and disgrace Buhari should be TOTAL and UNEQUIVOCAL.

i dont care if Atiku does 2 terms....its his right.
I'm only interested in Buhari leaving.
Obasanjo did 8
yardua did 2
GEJ did 6
Buhari has done 4

TOTAL.....south 14, north 6

if Atiku does 8, everything will equalize.

you people are saying cabal this, cabal that.
there's no cabal yet.
the main cabal will come out if Buhari wins 2nd term.
that's when we will see tyranny and dictatorship because he has nothing else to lose.

my fellow igbos who are preferring Buhari because he has only one more term......
Buhari will never handover to the igbo.
you all heard what Fashola mistakenly voiced out the other day.

I disagree with utmost respect for ur post.
Obi is a better alternative
see the excitement it generated across Nigeria.
Ekweremadu's efcc file is still open.
and Atiku knows.
the FG was just waiting for the ekweremadu announcement for them to pounce.
these politicians are not that stupid

They've started making this election about a contest between Igbos and Yorubas. They insult every Yoruba insight.
And that's how even the little Yorubas supporting Atiku will have to choose to rather support Osinbajo and defend their ethnic pride.
That was what made Jimi Agbaje lose the 2015 election in Lagos

While southern regions are desirous of positions and deals and everything else, it should be remembered that the north with the numbers still has its expectations from atiku and if it begins to have a feel of anti north to it, the plate could change.

It would have been better if trying to affirm a publicly stated statement was done in private and not making a public statement on it. They just could be setting atiku for a fall if they don't know how to manage information flow.

He has to look unbiased by all parties involved and furthermore, this should be a PDP in house discussion and agreement and not just one region's stance.

However, he cannot reverse what he said as the internet never forgets.

Fasola did not mistakenly say it. He deliberately said it.

What you put is what you get..
The Igbos investment is in Pdp and not APC.

Moreover, we have over 90 political parties. Why should only Apc's action be of concern?

The Pdp shut Yorubas out and that's fair because, in PDP, Yorubas have little contribution and as such are in no position to make demands

No more restructuring then.

Nigeria must restructure or die a slow inevitable death. The current system is a non-sustainable, self-deceiving sham. And every Nigerian knows it.

Atiku is using restructuring as a selling point for his campaign. Obviously restructuring has a broad appeal in all corners of the country, except amongs the feudal Northern elites.

Whether Atiku will follow through with restructuring is only would tell, politicians being what they are.

The electoral defeat of Buhari should be the first imperative.

The south east is in a state of quagmire. Even if the man signs a hundred agreements are they sacrosanct? NO.

You can't tie a man's hand once he assumes power. The region can't eat it's cake and still have it.

Critically analyze your position and determine what is best. Support APC with possibility of a shot at presidency come 2023 which from all calculations based on justice and equity looks plausible or continue Atikulating OBIdiently till 2029.

Your tactic of putting words in my mouth won’t work bro. Even the progenitors of divide and rule have stopped this old tactic. It’s an old, futile and utterly silly tactic. grin

I do not resent any ethic group or colour or people. As long as a person adds value to me, that person is my person.
