There are few people i have such confidence in that when they announce a project to be built, i go to bed safe in the knowledge that there's a 90% chance it will be built! ObiJackson and Dr Maduka of Umuchukwu are two of such people! The attached 3-D rendering looks nice, and after seeing what his company has put up in Lagos and Okija, i have no doubt this one too will keep faith with what's shown in the render! It kinda reminds me of the Bonny Island JV Camp! 5 Likes 1 Share |

Obi1kenobi:All you said about the SW contributing to the arm and purse of APC is correct. And if it's by earning the slot by virtue of their contribution to the APC, then they sure deserve it. The APC can gift their Presidential position to the SW come 2023 but that won't amount to victory. Earning a prize in Nigeria political sphere is no longer attainable. The era where the SW won by sympathy is gone, because every zone can attest to the fact that only the Igbo this time deserves such sympathy and no one else. The SW will have to test their political clout this time to win any presidential election. If it's by national acceptance or popularity, name one SW politician that can win elections in the north? Is it Tinubu? Who I see a man like Rochas beating with a landslide or even Kalu give a walkover. Many of you tend to underrate the political spread of SEasterners in the north, why overrate that of the Yorubas. Especially looking at the manner at which you just evaluate our political advantage. Who informed you that Igbos are hated by the northern political class? Or did you buy that from Lagos - Ibadan expressway media or IPOB propaganda. If truly Igbos are hated by the northern elites, why then did Zik's NPP win in two northern states in 1979 while Awolowo's UPN failed to even win an ordinary state HOR seat in the same north. If we were hated and the Yorubas loved, why then was Ekwueme picked as vice in NPN and not a Yoruba by the northerners. If the Yorubas were loved by the northern, why then did they annulled Abiola's mandate in 1992. If they were loved by the north in 1998, why didn't they - the northern elites support Olu Falae the chosen Yoruba candidate instead of Obasanjo handpicked by IBB. If the Igbos in turn were hated by the north why did Yar'adua work wholeheartedly with us when he was running for Presidency. Are you aware that the likes of Rochas and NOI emerged 2nd and 3rd during the primaries while the bulk of the Yorubas pitched their tent with ACN during that same election year. And do not forget that during all these time, IPOB madness hasn't escalated this far. So tell me where this so-called north that loathe Igbos is coming from because it's surprising to me. The north for all I care only put themselves first before others. That is why a northerner in the presidential polls is always a big threat to any southerner contesting too. But in the absence of a northerner, I dare say it again, bring Tinubu any day and bring a Rochas or Kalu as his opponent and you'll be shocked to see the demystication of the Jagaban. I bet you that same north you say that love the Yorubas will throw their votes behind either their brothers or an Igbo man. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

THE South South Atiku/Obi Support Base has concluded plans to meet with some traditional rulers, especially the traditional priests in the creeks of South South to seek for their support for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar election. Mr Peter Obi and PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku This was disclosed in a press statement by King Para Ekiyes and Barr. E K.Ebis, chairman & publicity secretary of the group in Warri, yesterday. “We have made a special request to them and they have graciously granted our request, also some ex-militant leaders have accepted our audience. “We will deliver the region to Atiku/Obi and the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, it should be made clear that we are not supporting Atiku because of money but because of his capability. “It is rather the hardship and neglect of the region that made us to resolve that we need someone trusted like Atiku with economic understanding to take over the affairs of the country. “We from the South South should speak with one voice for Atiku, because Nigeria deserves a great leader.” http://mognews.com/2018/10/28/group-in-southeast-mobilize-traditional-rulers-ex-militants-for-atiku/ |

pazienza: How do you say Ikwerre is landlocked when they have a port on their land? Or is the Port Harcourt wharf, the basis for which the city got its name in Igboland? Its funny how you know this and still write what you want. Its not like being landlocked translates to hopelessness. So kini big deal? |

HopeAtHand: It's a river port. Ikwerre has no sea coast. You can only access the sea via Rivers controlled by Ijaws down South. Your situation isn't different from those of Ndiigbo. This will become clearer once Nigeria is restructured and Ijaws get oil Rivers state they clamour for. 6 Likes 1 Share |

We need to let the ikwerre be. I kind of understand why some don't want to be associated with the Igbo family. It's human nature. Insulting them will only make things worse. I guess they are trying to survive or avoid being tyrannized by men of lawlessness. It is a cowardly approach unfortunately but what can we do. Back to the topic... — I think we should explore new ways to develop our lands. Some suggested the use of ICO (Initial Coin Offering) to develop the real estate and other important Industries. The good thing about ICO is that people anywhere in the world can easily buy into your token/project especially If you are honest, transparent and a good Real Estate developer/entrepreneur. If you build your Estate and it is doing well your company's token will increase in price... The token thing is a bit more like shares in Stock Market, only difference is that it can be used as currency. As your token keeps going up in value your estate will be worth more and your investors will be happy. *Try researching about ICO if interested. — I was wondering if increasing minimum wage will help increase our states purchasing/consumption power and attract investors. Some argued that this will lead to inflation. I think it won't have much of an impact if done well. Most of the increase will go directly to mortgage/housing, insurances, healthcare, education, child support, etc. For example, if a company increases salary from from 20,000 to 60,000 employee will get paid 20,000 while the remaining 40,000 will be sent directly to the employee's Mortgage , Insurances, Healthcare Companies. When the employee is ready to buy or build a home, he just apply to the mortgage company and a home will be built for him. Same with Insurances , health care, education. The companies should be located within the state. If it becomes impossible to get the companies established in the state, good Indigenous Companies could be used It is important that States get much of the increased minimum wages spent within the state to improve its economy and make the State very attractive to investors. 1 Like 1 Share |

OpenYourEyes1:If we don't discuss them how can we know what is going on in that area? The thread really opened the eyes of many, and many people offline are not aware of things that are going on there until they start reading. Some of us used to love everbody from that axis but I think time has come for such love to be selective. We should start loving some of them on personal basis because of friendship and martial issues but not on general basis. We must keep making inquiries about them because igbo si na onye ajuju anaghi efu uzo. Onye amaghi ebe mmiri bidoro maba ya, ogaghi ama ebe okwusiri ya. The funny thing is that they are still bearing our names. What type of nonsense is that ? 4 Likes 1 Share |
