I am not a DPR hopeful but I have been following this thread with a keen interest. I will advice you guys to listen to what @xtruzz is saying. Is not only in DPR, it is also applicable to other agencies recruitment. For instance NASRDA's APL's are ready but there is also a delay which I learnt from my source that there is an order from SGF to not to release the letters yet. According to my source, most of those agencies that had concluded their recruitment will release their letters in accordance with the SGF's order. I know all the delay is part of the campaign strategies of this present administration. So I bet you guys to relax, those letters will soon be released.

PATIENCE, truly is an indespensable virtue. There is a lesson for many of us to learn in this recruitment, particularly the ending stage of it.

Lesson:
1. When God is defending you, he uses a man to stand in the gap, however, because it may delay a bit, we doubt if God is really working for us... Be patient, God is working for you.

2. Do not make your judgement or conclusion, concerning a subject you are not well-informed and verifiably in know of, based on perception or emotion. In this case, seek for help to know and get information.

3. While waiting for harvest, plant more seeds, rather than being discouraged, for you know not which will bring more rewards and fruit.

God help us all.

Though not all will get in, but we pray for the best, and for it to favour us.

To many that will get in eventually, may God help you to make a good change at DPR.

The successful applicants are meant to receive APLs this month. Mr. A. R. SHAKUR hasn’t given his staff the go ahead. There’s a good reason for the delay.

In the same way, He has delayed the promotion of staff to management levels. The promotion exercise which commenced November, 2017 was concluded last month. Those that passed the interview last month are still awaiting promotion.

DPR initially wanted the first and Second batch to resume Q2 and Q4 of this year respectively.

200 slots were given to Stakeholders. Most of them have reported. The rest that failed to report before October, 1st will join the second batch.

Merit applicants filled the 400 slots. Few of them joined the first batch. Those that failed to report before October, 1st were replaced.

Some have confirmed their names. Please make effort to know your status. If you have no one, be patient. You will hear from them soon. Continue praying and put your trust in God.

Those ready to pull the trigger, good luck with that. I feel your pain but If you decide to execute your plan, it will be a win-lose situation i.e those that got in through their sponsors will loose their jobs; Director will be sacked and the recruitment will be suspended indefinitely.

Everyone will be ok.

C’mon xtruzz nobody called you names. Everyone here is trying to state his/her case according to his/her interest. Our interest is purely the merit list, jobs going to real hardworking people whether they have the connect or not.

It is a known fact that the ego of a woman folk when injured takes time to heal, but I believe you should in all honesty let go of issues you have with anyone here. One of the reasons why this platform had been volatile lately was as a result of lack of concise information especially since our main source Marvel went underground, thus everyone came up with his/her own idea of how to end the recruitment process abruptly. Marvel is back now with encouraging and comforting words so all frayed nerves have been calmed. As you can see, even the proponents of publication (which by the way, I am in support of) are now relaxed.
