I certainly don't support Evans having read reports of the ordeals of his victims. However we need to know if people are truly being silently killed in SARS custody as he stated with details published in a newspaper. If that is true, it's a dangerous trend for our society. That means people may be running from cultists only to end up getting killed by our "friends".

Even suspected criminals are innocent until proven guilty. The rule of law should be upheld and the law should always take it's course for a better society.

That's not the point, there's a reason why humans are different from animals. You can't dehumanize them because they did it to others. That's crime against humanity. If you do that, you're not different from them.

This is not about benevolence, it's about the value of humanity. There are ways in which if you treat a single person, then you have disrespected humanity in general.

The focus should not be on punishing them, rather it should be more about preventing them from having the freedom to repeat it again.
