Francis exhales as he stare out from the window.... He blink.... Recalling what happened earlier..... That isn't what he wants... He wants to go home.. Not be another prince in another land.....

He gritted... The sun shoning from the sky into his eyes.... He thought about his family... The dead of his father.. The sad moment his brother ask him to run.. To survive... His mother he couldn't see before he jumped into that river.... that moment his life changed....

"Prince Francis..... "

He scoffs when he heard Vuga's voice... He quickly turn to face him.... The title resounding in his ears....

"What is the new prince of Mogula doing in my room....? Vuga ask...

Francis suck his teeth..... "This is also my room.. I slept in this room for five years.. "

"Well not anymore prince... Father has given you a chamber... A room of your own.. "

Francis chulkled.... "Can you please cut off the prince and treat me the way you do before... "

Good morning Silver. I was introduced to nairaland some months back, although hav heard alot about it b4 then, I didn't really check it out until that day; and few weeks later, I stumbled across 2 Literatures- The Enemy Within by Madera and King (Where Evil Men Dwell, Bad Things follow) by silver1996. The former has been concluded while the latter as we all know is still hot. Yesterday I finally signed up so I could comment. This is my comment without being bias or blowing ur trumphet, ur story telling-skills is comparable to that of the writers of Game of Thrones. In other words, it's World Class not amateur or semi-pro or pro but World class or Legendary...lol. The story is a tale of mystery and suspense. The way u describe sexual scenes bro, it's out of this world.(lol)... I didn't have to think hard to get the picture of the characters (not the sex scene o). It's like am watching a movie in 3D. The way u twist the story line is magnificent. Someone once said here that it's "a Superstory drama", the person is damn right. You are good brother!
You are one of the reasons I log onto nairaland.com every night. I know someday, the World will celebrate u if u keep it up and may Almighty God continue to shower u with more wisdom to live a fulfilling life and to keep coming up with beautiful stories... Thank u!!!

WITH A SECOND GLANCE AT THE MIRROR... ODUMODU QUICKLY PICK UP THE BRIEFCASE FROM THE BED.....
he arranged the right hand sleeve of the suit... He huff and step out of the room.....
He step into the parlour where his driver was waiting and his thug was waiting for him... The thug quickly collected the briefcase from him.. The driver ran ahead to open the car door......

They stepped outside... Head towards the car park... His different fleet of cars lined up....
He move to one of them.. The one he has instructed the driver to take to the car washed since that was what he will be going out with....

The gate opened and a car came in....
Odumodu stood beside his own car wondering who it is....
He continued gazing until the person came out....
He nib his lip when he noticed it was someone he has never seen before....

With a briefcase in his hand... The person walk up to him.... "Good morning Chief...... "

Odumodu didn't even bother to reply.. He just stood staring at him...

The guy insutilate... Then he quickly opened the briefcase and brought out a file....

"What is this....? Odumodu ask curiously...

"Mr Carter sent me.... "

"Ferico Carter....!

"Yes chief... This are the paperwork you need to sign for the expansion of the hotel..... "

Odumodu quickly collected it from him... He drool his eyes though it in a second... The words were too lengthy..... "Where should i sign? He ask shapily not even bothering to read it...

"Mr Carter thought you will be needing a lawyer to review that.....

"I don't need any lawyer... Show me where to sign.... "He boom out...

The guy shrugged then he showed him and gave him a pen......

Without hesitation.. He signed in the places that he was shown... Then he gave it back to him... Taking his own copy...... "Tell Ferico i will be coming to see him so we can discuss about the expansion the moment am through with what am doing.... "

"I will convey your message to him chief..... "

Both entered their cars and zoom off after the other......

vuga swallowed hard as he pace in the room... His finger on his jaw.... He stop wandering and fix his eyes on Francis... Who was sitting... Disappointment etched on his face..... "So you are saying for you to cross the river a human life must be offered as a sacrifice.... "He said breaking the silence.....

Francis flexed his fingers... Danasiri's words echoing in his head.... All this time.. He has always thought of going home one day.... He swallowed hard....depression sunk in... The thought of never returning home sink deep in him.... ...."I just want to go home.... 'He said with doleful eyes.........a gloomy forlorn wrecked his spines... tears almost at the verge of running out.....

Vuga fold his hands across the chest...... "Are you willing to offer a human life as a sacrifice.......?

He bit his lip.. Then shook his head..his despairing eyes answered his question......... "I can't do that... I can't kill someone... "

"But there is no other way besides this.... You have to kill to get home...... "

Francis sniff... Tears find its way out of his eye... Slowly dripping down his cheek....

Vuga suck his teeth as he saw the tears..... "Seriously......?.....

Francis quickly wipe them off.. He sniffed again... Sucking in all the air he can get......"All this time... The only thing that has been keeping me sane is the thought of going home someday... Seeing my house again......

"Becoming a prince again.....? Vuga cut in..... "Don't pout.... Am not deaf... You have always reminded me that you are a prince... Though i never believed it but am starting to do now.... "

Francis exhales.. Then he lour his head....

"You can still get home.... Father will be more than willing to offer many humans as sacrifice for you to return to return back to your home.... You saved his daughter... Our sister... We are all indebted to you..... "

"That's what i don't want..... "He cut in.... His doleful eyes soaked with tears...... "I don't want anyone dying for me.... I don't want anyone sacrificing himself just for me to go home...i will never be at rest considering the fact that someone who has life ahead ended it all because of me....

Vuga scoffs...... "If that's what you are worried about.... Then i suggest we sacrifice the old people.. There are many old people around... For example those beggars on the street... Their lives is useless.. We will be doing them a favour if we use their lives for something good.....

"They are still people......

"People who are at the verge of death...... "Vuga cut in shapily..... "Do you know how many of them that die in a day... Littering their dirty corspe all over the street....if you ask me... They are the perfect sacrifice..... I can get one of them for you right now and before you know you will be at home relaxing on your bed... Thanking

Francis emit..... Then he stood up not bothering to give Vuga the dignity of a reply... He begin to step out of the room....

"Where are you going.....? Vuga ask shapily

Francis took a deep breathe then he turn to face him....."meeting people who are sane..... "

Francis didn't bother to reply.. He just walk out of the room....

Slowly.... He drag his feet to Katherine's room,his inner mind screaming at him to just go somewhere and be alone.... Pour out his frustration on a jug of their stupid alcohol......

It wasn't long before he got there.... With woeful eyes.. He exhales... Then he knocked.. The knock was faint.... His head recalling Danasiri's words... There was no going home.. He is stuck here... Forever....

He knock again.. This time more than serious than the first time.....

He emit when the door opened..... He drool his eyes on her.... She was alluring... Her eyes blazing sweetness...... He force a smile on his cheeks....

"Francis you are back..... "Katherine said.. vehemence coat in her voice.....

He nodded shabily.. Then a force smile followed... Hiding the low-spirited glum that keeps pushing itself out....

She opened the door widely giving him space to walk in......

Wuth a huff.. Francis walk in and she immediately close the door...

"Where is Adesa....? He ask curiously not really knowing what to say..

"She went out.. On an errand... So how did it go....?

"How did..........! He grind his teeth... Allowing the warmth feeling of the room lick through him...

"You told me you were going to see the priestess...... "

He took a deep breathe... She will probably be the most happiest person if she hear the news that he won't be leaving again.... Won't be seeing his home..... He's stuck in a strange land....... The inconsolable depression that has eluded him before came rushing back to his body... Sinking deep into his soul.... The woebegone expression etched on his face once more... So bleak.... So noticeable.....

"What happened.....? Katherine ask.. This time more gentle in her voice....

He suck his teeth fighting hard to stop the tear from flowing from his eyes... But he wasn't strong enough...... "I won't be going home..... "He said with shaking mouth and the tears rushed out...... Popping out no stop....

Downhearted.... Katherine quickly wrapped her hands around him.... A grief-stricken feeling sweeping through her.....

He gave way to more tears as her hands wrapped around him... He lour his head in her shoulder letting it all out... The sadness... The depression... The thought of never seeing home again.. The thought of never knowing if someone in his family survived...... ..."A human sacrifice must be made for my safe passing...... "He muttered over her shoulder...

He quickly let go of him..... Stare right in his face.... "A human sacrifice......?

He nodded... Wiping the tears off... A bit ashamed he was crying in front of her..... "I can't do it... I can't kill someone....... Am never going home........ "

She sniff........her own tears began to puff out... Her eyes wet.... She quickly hug him again...taking refuge in his warmth... "Do you really want to go home?she muttered....

He swallowed hard... He could hear the hard traveling of the spit down his throat..... "All i wanted was to go home.... But it's never going to happen now....not with a human life as a bargain..... "

She blinked and a tear drop from her eye.... His words sinking deep in her..... She let go..freeing herself from the embrace.... Their eyes met... Their faces wet with tears.....their face facing each other... Each other's heart pounding... Yearning for more.....

Slowly...... His hands trembling..... His muscles cracking out... He lean his head forward... His forehead touching her... His mouth went for her lips... He close his eyes..... Just then it happened... His lips met hers.....

Amidst tears and fear... She gave in... Kissing him back... His smell... The alluring scent of their mouth sending deadly sensations all over their body.....

In that second.. He realise what he was doing he wanted to pull away... Run away but he couldn't... He kiss deeper... First faintly... Then passionately.... His hand climbing up to her head... Pulling her forward... And to his surprise she didn't object...

The world fell away.. The depression.... The anger tinge with sadness began to elude him..... His feelings sink in.. The kiss electrifying them.... Their tongues roving in each other mouth........

She ran her fingers down his spine, pulling him closer until there was no space left between them and she could feel the beating of his heart against her chest.....

As the kiss deepened...more intense.. More passionate.... His head caught fire.. Sending the warmth all over him... His bulge tightened in his pants.. He couldn't let go.. They were breatheless.....unexpectedly he drop his hand to on her waist pulling her more closer..... Their tongues twintning on each other.... Then a low moan follow... Making the pleasure intense...... Sensual... Their emotions amplified.....

He couldn't take it... Couldn't quenched the fire that was burning in him... Without hesitation.. He lifted her up and carried her on the bed.......

At that moment.. He forgot everything... Forgot about home... Forgot about the terrible things that happened to his family... He just relax in the euphoric pleasure.... In her warmth... The deep kisses.......

Just then the door opened..... They quickly sprang up and face the door.....
