Curtisaxel7: This could only mean u have not watched Nacho this season but really how much creativity were u seeing from our CM's in the first place? All Ajayi has to do is mark and give the ball to Iwobi, even his coach says he prefers him in the midfield but only play's him as a defender because of lack of options. 9 Likes |

Joebie: If Rohr finally falls for that quota system crap, our team will just collapse like a pack of cards. All his painstaking work of building an SE team from the scratch will be destroyed. The SE is not a platform to help salvage dying careers of average players. It's a place where we showcase our very finest. Let us pick the best. Whether he plays in Aba, England or Thailand. 9 Likes |

chiscodedon:Looking more like this is a game of counterattack. We would leave the middle to the SA to boss but make it hard to attack us, but long balls and counters would do the deal. Iwobi is key so we don't need such control. I hope this is what Rohr has in mind, cos he sef dey fear me these days. 1 Like |

Adeleke Akinyemi scored his second league goal in Norway, but his club IK Start still fell 3-1 to Molde at home to deepen their relegation worries. Akinyemi, 20, netted in the 42nd minute, but Molde fought back in the second half to win. Start remain 13th on the table with 29 points from 27 matches. They are just two points above Lillestrom, who are in the relegation playoff spot. Leke James was a first half sub for Molde, while compatriot and teammate Daniel Chima Chukwu was an unused sub. 1 Like 1 Share |

chiscodedon:How can one look at this list and confidently say Rohr is not crazy?? Look at that midfield FFS!! Neutralize Iwobi and it's all over. Why has he failed to replace Onazi and Mikel?? Has Mikel retired or what?? Rohr must be crazy if he wants us to believe we don't have midfielders to try out when Onazi and Mikel are out. Unless he's leaving those spots open for the "two passport gang"(which is still weird and daft) - this man needs to go see a psychiatrist quick! NFF definitely played a role in these picks...free hand indeed. |

I think there is more to the Onazi situation. He did not play against Libya due to injury but immediately he went back to his club, he started playing. If Onazi is fit, i do not see why Agu should be invited. 3 Likes |

I’m okay with the list since Eze is no longer available to us AUTOMATICALLY, and some new players were invited on merit. But what if Uzoho gets injured? Lol junnyjake: 2 Likes |

Danielnino00: Solanke has not been outstanding without doubt but strictly in the context of Liverpool. He is a small speculative option that hasn't paid off. But nothing is lost there were never big expectations on him anyway. If Liverpool need quality they buy proven and tested, they have the money. Funny they could probably still sell him Solanke for near £10 million. If you take him out of the context of Liverpool if he was in a mid level EPL club would he playing regularly , I would say certainly. Again Solanke has not been great in the context of the very high standards that a forward player has to have to play for Liverpool. You really have to be close to World class to be a regular. But being a flop I would disagree. Suarez and Coutinho left Liverpool to Barcelona that tells you the very high standards you have to achieve in Liverpool. So do you think we have any players that will walk straight into Liverpool's first team. You make too.many assumptions,, I have never said Solanke is great. I sid say I rated him higher than KC as a striker a true number 9. So what's thier to defend. |

charlesemeka85: He and Osimhen are not likely to make the SA game match day squad though. They are likely to be tested against Uganda. I also think our squad has too many wingers. We once had too many midfielders but that department of the team seems to have thinned out now. Rohr needs to inject fresh players into that midfield. 2 Likes |

ChrisKels: Nwakali was playing in Eredivisie was anonymous and then left to 2nd tier in the Dutch league and now playing youth football in Porto B. Is that not the facts. He is even struggling to get on the bench. So what's not true. But back to Solanke. You must look at a player in context. When you play for a World class team like Liverpool as a youth player. For you to get in you have to be top class or very near world class. Batshuayi was not getting any game time in Chelsea goes to the Bundesliga and smashes it wide open. We can look at Ademola hardly getting any game time at Everton goes to Bundesliga and rips it apart. You cannot be comparing players who are in completely different situations. Osimhen is essentially playing his first real season of competitive football in a club and league that is probably a hundred positions or more below Liverpool. Isaac Success third season in the EPL and how many goals scored again no comparison. When he just starts a game you jump up in euphoric gyration, like he scored a hat trick. Looking at matters in context there is no issue of integrity or double standard as you imply. If Solanke were to go on loan to another club then it would we can truly see his true capacity. Or in the very unlikely event that Sturridge, Firmino, Mane, and Salah get injured. Then he may get Opportunity. Otherwise the comparison you are making are just born out of mischievous negative prejudice. I don't necessarily rate Solanke very high. Once again you are being presumptuous , I am.not defending Solanke or making it seem he is something special. NOT AT ALL. 3 Likes |

edi287: Weda he picks one midfielder or 23midfielders,d end justify d means,as far as I am concerned, anything rohr feels will make him get d needed result,he should do it,after all if he had picked like 6 or 7 midfielders and fail to get a result,we would still attack him,so what's d point ?,having 6/7 midfielders in a team doesn't guarantee a victory, it only gives d coach more options in d middle.and to rohr he feels he won't need dt much options in d middle, so let c aw it goes 4 Likes 1 Share |

Icon4s: The issue is about your perception not objectivity. You are too emotively biased. Once a Nigerian origin player is being talked about you immediately create division and separation. The only consideration should be best quality no other consideration. what you are practicing is quasi tribalism against Nigerian origin players because they were not born in Nigeria. It's worse than racial discrimination and unacceptable. I haven't seen anybody run down players because they were born in Nigeria I think that's your imagination and prejudiced perception. I challenge you to give one instance ❓ ❓ ❓ Objective preference based on out right better quality is not running players down. 3 Likes 1 Share |

This is not club football where one runs down his contract and leaves for free and pick his next destination If plan a does not work, I'll follow plan b.....come on....if he wants Germany let him hold out for Germany....we can't wait for him to just keep us on hold until loew gives him a call....we have our own football future to worry about By the way, the difference between Leon balogun and this guy is the fact that Leon did not put Nigeria on hold. When it became clear to him he had no future in Germany, he came over....in other words he made up his mind....this guy is yet to...Nigeria is building a team for the future...he is either part of it...or he isnt 3 Likes |
