Please mamas how do you manage jaundice in new born.

u should take the baby to hospital. Then exposing the baby to sunlight. I saw a lady boil bitter leaf and put few drops of the water in the babies mouth consistently for days and the thinh cleared off after few days.

Awww! I totally understand that feeling. Happened to me when i traveled without my son for one night. I was so miserable. Don't worry, he will be alright. Guess you wont be gone for too long?
For weaning, painkillers and cabbage should do.

Welcome Mama. Please confirm at the hospital the values so that you'll know if it's something that can be managed at home or not.

Tested home remedy that I know of.. Get unripe pawpaw, wash thoroughly, slice with the back & add drinking water to it.. Let it steep in the water for a while. start drinking it like a cup three times daily.. you can drop a little quantity in your baby's mouth too like twice a day.. it should clear off in no time.

clear off any yellow coloured item from within reach..
All the best.

Hello mothers in the house, new dad here. I stumbled upon this thread after numerous searches online.

My 3week old princess is having difficulty pooping. She grunts, and groans, twisting in agony as she tries to force it out. She's strictly on breast milk and she's given gripe water every morning, but still, she's experiencing a lot of difficulty.

Please what can I do to ease my princess's pains?

The only remedy that worked for me even after giving medicine was to wait it out

You can use the search button, type colic and you'll see many answer to your question.

Good morning

You are welicome! As for the jaundice, have you seen a doctor? You can also bring the baby out under the early morning sun. Carry baby in arms facing the sun.

HI daddy. Search colic on this thread, numerous people have discussed it. I always advise the wait it out strategy as most of these meds don't do anything... Ensure she is well burped after feeding, bicycle her legs when you see her twist (youtube videos will help), place her on her tummy (when she's awake only please). It's not an attempt to poop, it's a digestive system development/gas movement thing

It will definitely go by 3 months

modified: Basically everything FloraEC said, I should read up before posting grin

@Rezzy Thanks kiss I have faith that's why I would keep the car seat money in my account.

@mamadsquare or is there a d? Mamadsquared, stockfish can only vomit counterfeit money.

@everyone, it's common knowledge that I'm now bored and jobless. I need recommendations for diaries to read. Most preferably married people or if they are single then they should be female and not childish grin
