tomakint: Go to the immediate past and check, since 1992 when Tinubu contested as a Senator and represented Lagos in the Senate up till today, Tinubu has never lost and election. Even when Atiku combined with Obasanjo and Afenifere, Tinubu rubbished them all. This coming election is not going to be an exception. 3 Likes 1 Share |

1.1 million have just slipped into poverty in the last 4 month. This government is not even trying to maintain the already terrible standard everybody is managing since 1999. They have made everything worse. Every basic thing. Prof Moghalu totally obliterated the poor economic management of this government. He claimed with proof that Nigeria is on downward spiral from even the previous abysmal levels. Coming from an elite professor of management and governance, the prognosis is dire. Nigeria is slipping away. Insecurity is high. Poverty is multiplying, social entropy is at its peak. Repairing the damage of the last 3 years would require serious serious work. If buhari wins again,it would be similar to the IBB SAP impact that has crippled Nigeria, generations after. 3 Likes 1 Share |

In the countries of the world, the number one way government creates jobs and national wealth is in investment in small and medium enterprises. Massive investment in SME with multiple ripple effects. From china to US to morrocco. The principle never fails. What did buhari do in Nigeria? Instead the old man created an N-power scheme that employs graduates for a year and then dumps them for the next batch, with zero value created. As laudable a project as it is,buhari has adopted as his main economic thrust with regards to the unemployment problem rather than as a minor or included option. Is it any wonder why unemployment and poverty have increased geometrically? |

Prof mogalu, an ecomomic expert advocated for the creation of a huge SME national fund solely created for the funding of start ups and SMEs throughout the federation. The idea is somewhat similar to the YOU win programme of the GEJ era, though looks more robust than YOU win. That is the way forward for Nigeria, if we want to really cripple unemployment. Buhari is busy sharing N5000 and N10000 to people like a deluded socialist without a plan. 1 Like |

You know what's sad in Nigeria?...it's the fact that once a particular political party is in power or has high chances of being in power, many of these fair weather politicians find it so easy to jump boat. For example, I think during 2015 elections atiku was part of Apc to pick up the presidential ticket but lost out to buhari. Don't get me wrong I am not a fan of buhari or his administration but the honest truth is that we need to look at something that's massively wrong here. Let's say you voted in someone in one particular party and before the next election they are in a different PARTY,what does that tell you? Lack of integrity. I stayed in Ghana for a few years and this is one area I must tell you all that Ghanaians are ahead of us . Politicians in Ghana do not jump about political parties anyhow, most of them are born into a particular political party, it's most times a family thing or a regional thing because for example the Ashanti tribe of Ghana is mainly for NPP (the current party in power), while majority of the North are for NDC. The current president of ghana has always been NPP . How I wish Nigerian politicians can have integrity and stand strong under their various political households irrespective of circumstances. And we Nigerians are not exempted either , because on here on NAIRALAND we have various youths insulting themselves using various names ( AFONJA , BMC , IPOB etc). Don't you all understand that this men you fight yourselves for ; you probably have greater integrity than? If only they can defend and be so loyal to their political parties and to the people of Nigeria as you are to them , Nigeria would be so much greater than it is today. So please my brothers and sisters , let us vote for who would be sincere enough to take this country forward. 3 Likes |

emmie14: The guys at apc are so shameless.. All they do all day is to be attacking pdp left right and center.. Or to be attacking their candidates.. Is it that the apc has no achievements to show for their campaign? What they should be doing now is show us what they have done and what they plan to do to add to what they have done.. Is it that apc naturally don't like intelligent people or what? 2 Likes |

The bank of industry have been relegated to a relic under buhari. An organisation that should be very active given the emergency. The last time i saw BOI doing anything was during jonathan era. And we.wonder why Nigeria is now the poverty capital of the world with just 180 million people. |
