Former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, was spotted on Bourdillon Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, where the former Lagos State Governor and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu resides.

Obi, in a widely circulated photograph, was spotted with a friend walking along the Bourdillon Road, without any security detail attached to him, like other politicians would have.

Mixed reactions however, trailed the photos, as at that time, cos the reports that Obi, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Tinubu were forming alliance to float a new Mega Political party ahead of the 2019 Presidential election.

He has always been a simple and humble man.. When he was governor of Anambra state, we both boarded same flight, he was sitting in the economy class, when we arrived PH international airport, he went through the regular arrival wing, instead VIP, and to my utmost suprise, only two cars came to pick him, his LandCruiser jeep and a back up hilux with just 3 mobile police men.. Thats the highest level of simplicity i have ever seen from a sitting governor in Nigeria.. He has my respect for that..
