XaintJoel20: I quite agree with you. Chief Anthony Anenih native Uromi remains a shackles of poverty at his death. Chief Anthony Anenih left a bad legacy trailing him till death. He was popularly known as "Mr Fix it" He served under several federal government in Nigeria and at the state level. Chief Anthony Anenih despite his long years in government as far back as the President Shehu Shagari /Ambrose Ali administration. He did not bring maximum and gainful development to Esanland or Edo state as a whole. Go to Benin city the capital of Edo state you will find the same rot and underdevelopment that was left by Chief Anthony Anenih 's Pdp 16 years legacy. If there was development that was brought to any parts of Edo state. It was just a little development with the remaining money amounting to billions and trillions entering private pockets. He failed to develop the Lagos/Benin/Ore road that money was allocated to him. It was through Chief Anthony Anenih many sycophant became rich over night. Chief Anthony Anenih despite sitting on PDP board of trustees lucrative post and minister of works and housing with regards to the Obasanjo and Jonathan administration did not remember his native Esanland and the whole of Edo state. Neither did he remember Nigeria as a country. Political leaders should learn from the wrong foot steps of Chief Anthony Anenih and use their position to develop the native community they hail from, their state and the Nigeria state as a country. It is a shame for our big men and big women to hide in Lagos and Abuja forgetting their villages and local community that lack infrastructure. Lagos and Abuja will not build the infrastructure for you in your villages. Go to your villages and develop the place. 1 Like |
