[quote author=einsteino post=72592815]I am not sure if this is helpful or relates to what we discuss here, but I hope to show guys a side to Living in Canada While this is very very true. We still have few ones who just fall in love with black guys o, not because they feel they are good in bed or they have a fetish. Lol. I’m just about a month in and where i work, ive had new friends come up to me to ask if I’ve got a single brother...lol. Its all jokes but it can be quite a culture shock for the men. Nice write up! 3 Likes |

pepe1:Haha. If the need arises, engineers do write flawlessy especially in developed countries. There are tons of error free technical reports to be written and justifications for projects to be presented to senior management. The reports have to be presented to people at different skills level or knowledge; so, one has to strike a balance. In some meeting, you would have engineers, trades people, business leaders, and community stakeholders with the last two having zero technical knowledge; yet, you have to submit and present documents that would make sense to them all. To suceed in Canada, an Engineer must have excellent communication or technical communication skills. 6 Likes |

Hello, what can you tell a graduate that wants to relocate to Canada? What kind of vocational skills should he have (if important)? How much for the visa, ticket and other transport fare? How much is their house rent/yr and is there any allowance for a new person? Just advice a graduate. Thanks |

taskcompleteng: HI, you are free to bring your Nigerian certificate but you will still have to go through the process of meeting the requirements of any province where you settle to be qualified to operate a forklift here. This is similar to other licensed professions where you have to get certified before you can practice here. I advice you go back and study the link I provided you to see if your certificate will be useful for any part of the process. I'm not sure what you mean by investment but any type of investment you have in Nigeria is also available here. There are bank products you can invest in, there are bonds and shares here, there are real estate opportunities, even baba ijebu (lotteries/gambling) is available here. There is something for every one. When you arrive and look around, you will be better informed after you settle down. All the best. 3 Likes |

melarose: Good day, what is the outcome of the assessment of your ATS? It will be recognised by IRCC if the ECA report gives it a Canadian education equivalent. 1 Like |
Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant by melarose: 9:11am On Nov 03, 2018 |
Thank you. It says one year college equivalent in Canada. Still, I will appreciate if I can get at least one person with ATS to help me answer a personal question Issyman: |
Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant by Newmum0615: 9:31am On Nov 03, 2018 |
I think you are worrying yourself for nothing. If your ECA states that it is equivalent to a Canadian education, then it's a positive review and will be accepted by IRCC. Many people have used ATS and were successful in their application. It's not a big issue. melarose: 3 Likes |
