Although Access bank target savings account has been forcing me to save...they won't allow you withdraw on the counter, and they won't give you ATM card... I almost cursed them one day

Are you serious?

So when and how will you withdraw then?

A little word of advice before you go ahead with your local method of saving

1. if you're getting any of those, do it yourself or watch while it's done because some witches and wizards are using the method to teleport all your saving to thier shrine

you'll only realise you've been saving for them on the 24th of December when you open and nothing is inside the bank cheesy

Is this sarcasm or you believe this?

I use CowryWise though, and I've had no issues with them.
You can't withdraw anyhow you like. And there's an interest rate of 10.5% P. A
I have no idea of how Piggybank works. But I think it's also reliable, based on the above comments. The Choice is yours.

If Piggyback decides to disappear or close app or shop like MMM who do you hold?

This is Nigeria. Where even traditional banks disappear (example Skye bank, intercontinental bank, etc not to talk of an app)

Open a traditional savings account and put all the restrictions you want for savings account. Eg: No Atm, None of those 737 codes, no internet banking withdrawals , etc etc. You can tell the bank what you want.

This way you control your money and not allow one fly by night app control your money.

I know nothing about piggybank but I use cowrywise and I like it for these reasons

1. It's very user friendly. Everything about the website and setting up my account was easy, no hassles.

2. Responsive & helpful customer service. The chat message platform on their site is active. You receive a response to your questions or complaints within a few minutes of communicating it.

3. Remarkable client services. I like the articles they send me via email on financial matters. Cowrywise has helped to educate me and keep me well informed about finances, savings & investments through those articles.

I like to read so their articles are appreciated. If you don't like to read their emails may feel like a bother & a nuisance grin

4. They have different saving platforms, suitable for different needs.

I like and appreciate their product & services. I will gladly recommend them any day, any time.

where most of their int per mnth doesnt exceed 0.8%. I think one of d main reason people go for these online saving platforms is their relatively high rate of interest on savings..
