Doyin Okupe Hints On Political ‘tsunami’ After Alaibe,10000 Supporters Dumped AP by 18Ebiscoo: 8:51am On Nov 03, 2018
Dotun Okupe, a former aide to immediate past president Goodluck Jonathan, has reacted to the defection of Chief Tim Aliabe from the All Progressives Congress, APC, alongside his supporters to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

DAILY POST reports that Alaibe, who was the former Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, and former Special Adviser to the President on Presidential Amnesty Programme, said he left APC along with 10,000 supporters because the ruling party doesn’t keep to promises.

He was quoted as saying: “You can see that APC house is in chaos.

“We are coming back to PDP to support you so you can continue to invest in other areas including what you have already done in the health sector like the diagnostic centre.”

Okupe, reacting to the former NDDC boss’ defection alongside others , hinted that a political ‘Tsunami’ is in the making as PDP is back with full force.

The former presidential spokesman wrote: “Patriots return to join PDP liberation army.. Atiku,Saraki,Dogara, Kwankwaso, NASS members.

“. Govs Tambuwal,Ortom; Dep govs Niger and kano. Now Hon Chibudom, Ita Giwa, Tim Alaibe! Definitely a Tsunami is in the making.
Game over.

“PDP; the people’s power we are back. bigger and blazing.”

the only politicians that left apc with huge fan base is saraki and kwankaso the rest leverage on sai baba mantra.grin
tambuwal ,ortom, dino, dogara re paper weight politicians that cannot be relied upon.
they all came to power through their God fathers they dont have any serious political clouts that can upset apc

dont be too emotional nobody gave him an edge over the incumbent especially the home of ex president.timi alaibe is a good addition if he add value to the party. most of them were in apc to cover their tracks.
at this stage timi alaibe is no loss to the party because of his state is already an opposition state that apc couldnt get 5% votes last election. the only politicians apc lost is saraki and kwankaso cos they left a huge vaccum to fill for apc in their respective states. dino ,sheu sani , ortom, hunkuyi, dogara re paper weights that needs party more than party needs them

they dont have the resources to pull any suprise.
nigeria politics is very simple. political clouts especially at the graasroot level cannot be built in just a single term of office especially when a political office holder is a product of godfatherism e.g tambuwal, ortom, dogara, hunkuyi ,dino, sheu sani, ambode e.t.c. all these politicans re at their crossroads at this stage of their political career. like ambode his faith has been sealed already .others might likely not return to their office especially ortom, tambuwal, dogara, sheu sani, hunkuyi .because they were elected through their machineries and political clouts of their godfathers .now they re now competing against them

forget social media frenzy it doesnt translate to reality.
apc despite economic recession in 2015/16
the party won kogi pdp stronghold, ondo pdp stronghold, edo state, and perform suprisingly at bayelsa state with seriake dickson beating timpire sylva with a slim margin.
