tivta: Just a new savings account, don't request for ATM, sms alert(email statement is good enough)..., you can also ask for a debit freeze on the account. This way you can't withdraw from the account except you deactivate the debit freeze. You'll also have 6% intrest depending on your bank 3 Likes |

Lol Nigerian bank hasn't moved to the IBP of global banking system, making its country people preferring archaic ways of savings . Banks abroad you can set a transaction limit to your account for withdrawal. |

Both are okay. But I would recommend Kolobox NG. It’s PiggyBank and CowryWise put together but on steroids. They have plans with interest rates ranging from 8-12% p.a in both locked and unlocked plans with easy withdrawals. And they even have more coming like Family or Group plans with good rates too. Take advantage now and visit kolobox.ng to find out more while you sign up. You’re very welcome 1 Like 1 Share |

I make use of both, but cowrywise is better for me, as for piggybank, you might have temptations to withdrwaw from your savings anytime, from my experience so far on both platforms. cowrywise is better... |

Try saving plan options available in insurance companies. Depending on the option you pick, the duration ranges from one year to five years or more and interest rates also reflect the option. The best parts of insurance options are that, there is penalty for withdrawal before the end of the duration selected, therefore, discourages withdrawal symdrome which undermines saving in the bank. Two, the total amount eyed from the beginning of the savings is guaranteed and payable in case of eventuality - death, incapacitations etc. Loan can also be accessed under the programme. I would recommend LEADWAY ASSURANCE for this. Whichever insurance companies selected, the periodical payment called premium should not be given to the staff but paid directly to the company's account by transfer or other means. I can be of further assistance if required. 1 Like |

Kolobox actually offers 12% returns and the interest reflects daily during your plan so it’s transparent and you can see the growth on your money. Withdrawals and cancellation of plans are free. Your funds are safe and insured with Kolobox because of all the platforms, they’re the only ones that are SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) regulated. So it’s guaranteed that no one is running away with your money. I guess they know that Nigerians are skeptics when it comes to money so it’s a good way of assurance. Just visit www.kolobox.ng 1 Like |
