Hello house, I am just about to begin Canadian immigration processing. I calculated my crs and I am 465 but my work experience is under skill c, can I still go with express entry or not? If not which other program can I apply for?

.

Does it mean that ICES is faster compared to WES. And do the also request for Waec or Neco certs
1. Conditionally, Yes. {Mostly Yes for Nigerian education}
2. Affirmatively, No. {For evaluation higher than nigerian secondary schools}

As you know, skill type C is not permitted u der express entry, i am not sure of which other program you can go for. If you share your job description here, maybe peeps can help u look at it critically and see if it might qualify for level B or A

“2. WAEC/NECO Scratch Card
What you need to do:

From Applicant
Please obtain a WAEC or NECO scratch card and send it to WES by postal mail. You must include your WES reference number on the scratch card.

Important Information:

Please note that only unscratched cards will be accepted. These scratch cards will not be returned.”

Seems WAEC has stopped verifying confirmations sent from WES.

WES just added the quoted requirement as part of the things to be sent for evaluation.

Stupid people

I mailed WES about this a month ago.
If it will speed up the process, it is welcome even though it adds courier expense.

Let's look for a way to be proactive here. If you are going to send scratch card to them, we should do it in groups of 5 or 10 people and share that courier cost.

1 volunteer can buy for 10pple, write the name and ref appropriately on each card, write up a manifest of the total cards containing the names of the owners, envelope it and send.

The total fee incurred will be shared equally and the tracking ID sent to those concerned.

Good luck with this. I just thought to chip the following in, may not be applicable in your case again, but...
I paid WES too, and I paid ICES. ICES delivered, WES is lagging. Although I haven't asked for refund from WES because I may need their evaluation in Canada. I'd advise you do the same, especially if your CRS score is BELOW 445. Why 445, you ponder? This is November, the remaining draws for this year is maybe 5 (optimistically), early next year may see draws in the ≥445 range because many would be concluding their 1 year diploma and other point boosting ways they engaged. This forum sef, people are aiming to have gotten higher points through 2 or more certificates early next year.
444 may be the new 440 next year. Make hay while the sun shines, ICES evaluation usually takes 5 weeks. Penny wise, pound foolish.

Thanks so much Ma/Sir, no doubt this is insightful.
However, I would have love to follow that route, in fact I once has a deep thought. Fortunately or unfortunately, I paid for myself and that of my wife.

Pushing another huge amount to ICES or other ECA body could be very difficult, we all know the language of the economy.

I hope others will learn from your comment.

Regards.

Don't get me wrong. All i am saying is WHY CAN'T A MALE DOC ATTEND TO MALE CLIENT (not patients this time) AND A FEMALE TO FEMALES? That's all IoM does; take Med for Immigration/ travel purposes they ain't hospitals hence one would think they should make it part of their standard procudures too to have gender specific docs. Anyway, it's your call and mine, we can pick it up anyway we want.

The good thing is in Lag their are options.

If I may add, for the ladies I think you’d be a bit more comfortable wearing tights maybe? I did and wasn’t asked to remove it. Also just dress in a gown or something comfy and easy to take off.

Hi everyone. Please if you're attended OOU and used ICES, help confirm if they agreed to sending a soft copy transcript via mail.

Elo, this is wat i did, my certificate isn't ready yet i only have my statement of result. When i applied for certificate it wasn't ready but i was given a letter of certificate/notification attached with photocopy of statement of result both stamped and signed by the HOD exams and record which i attached with the ICES request form for my school to sent it alongside my transcript to ICES. I also scanned the letter for certificate/notification with the photocopy of statement of result signed and stamp with the original coloured scan copy of my statement of result which i uploaded on the certificate column one after the other in ICES website. I also did uploaded a student copy transcript issued to me on the transcript column.

This idea i applied was gotten from one off us here who wrote to ICES in respect to same issues not having certificate ready yet rather he sent the certificate/notification letter to ICES to review and they accepted it can serve in lieu to the certificate. Although i went extra length to make sure my school sent it to ICES with my transcript.

If ur spouse's school hasn't sent the transcript yet, u can rush back and ask for certificate/notification letter to cover the certificate not yet ready.

On this same thread, some once "quoted" me that the sister or so uploaded her statement of result and ECA report was issued to her, let's hope for good.

Cheers,

OK thanks

I was told that company XYZ sanctioned a staff for writing her reference letter. So, the staff used the company's letter head and inflated the salary bla bla. How company XYZ got to know? I don't know. Maybe these people check these things abi? I feel that the story doesn't add up. I believe it's one of those companies that do not issue staff reference letters (world people in Newmum's tone)

But it's worthy to note that in the bid to get our desires we should thread with caution. Do not use your company's letter head when you do not have the right to issue such a letter. If a colleague would do you the honors please use plain sheets and add his business card to it. There are ways to prove your claims for example, payslips, employment letter, promotion letters, transfer letters, appraisal forms or page print out, your call card, plus you could write your own reference letter. wink
I can't remember the moniker now but I read it very well on someone's PPR announcement that he or she wrote his/her own reference letter and got it notorised. You might have missed this if you searched but if the selfless 'page-1-updaters' updated the PPR announcement then you can check there

Congratulations my people, jholarde (spell check lol) big e-hug

LOL.

Are you referring to the girl from the LMD who claimed she received commendation from her boss for being the best performer for several years running and forged account statements?
