i watch a lot of horror movies so it's difficult for me to get scared,the last time i got scared after watching a horror movie was in 2012

The Grudge 2 was one of those horror movies I mistakenly watched. Let's just say it was a long time before I was able to look at a mirror or sink comfortably.

Mehn, no matter the number of horrors I've or will watch, the next one must scare me. It's my nature. The only horror movies that can never scare me are the ones without jump-scares or the ones I'd watched before. If I manage to watch the Grudge movies, when I re-watch it, I'll be laughing all through. I think you're not just prone to being scared by movies and that's why you've been able to watch horror movies a lot.

Seriously though, I'm immune to most horror films, because I’m so used to them. Most of them are so generic that I can't be bothered, but Hereditary f**ked me right up. Like I haven’t seen a movie with that much focus on depression and loneliness (some people with lesser understanding of how psychological horror works would misconstrued this important part of the plot as boring and slow). The best horror movies are rooted in real human emotions and trauma. They work on levels without anything supernatural happening, but when those elements are brought to the film, it ups the horror exponentially. The Babadook is the only one that comes close to the levels of horror this film brought.

On The Nun, you'll certainly be very thrilled with it if you're a fan of jump-scares. It has it in droves. It's the weakest of The Conjuring franchise by a stretch.

The Nun is good.... but just like your basic Average Horror Movie.....I could literally actualize some things before they happened and they happened....you may watch it just to know how ogbeni Valak came to walk the earth....and see the connection between it and The Conjuring 1&2.....

Hereditary on its own was SICK!!!....after watching, I was like wtf....it's something that'll keep disturbing you....you're trying to comprehend what happened and you're also like....wtf just happened?.... you feel me.....that movie made me numb for some hours brah.........

Still, the Nun is a toddler when Compared To the Conjuring 1&2, Hereditary, The Babadook , even Insidious 1-4.....

LOL. Ishilove, the ONLY reason I watched The Nun was because I'm determined to complete The Conjuring franchise. I'd seen 4 Installments of the franchise, I can't afford to back down now.


I have this secret rule for movies which is; once I've watched a movie, I usually force myself to watch the subsequent prequels, sequels or Installments no matter how trashy, scary or fun they may be. If not for my secret code, I won't watch The Nun because I knew it'd scare me.


Horror movies like the Ring trilogy, Autopsy of Jane Doe, Evil Dead, etc., I haven't seen them because fear no gree me. The Nun is scary, Annabelle Creation got nothing on it in the fear segment. Annabelle & Annabelle Creation didn't scare me that much when compared to The Nun or Conjuring part 1.

so they did a remake of the 1982 film.

The rating on this current one is lower than the first one. Actually love the first one. During the 80's it was one of my favourite movies.

Hope I won't regret downloading it.

Alpha is a good movie. It all depends on what type of movie you like. It is like the Revenant movie by DiCaprio without a good versus evil plot.
