hammerFC:@ the emboldened is the reason we need Etiti state and not Adada, we need to add to what we already have, if Etiti is created the federal government will have to site a federal university there just as the new federal university in Ebonyi which the region is already benefitting from due to the new state, that's what I think. |

OMANBALA1: PSquare started in Jos and were never distancing themselves from Igbo. The First Album had a lot of Igbo lines, their biggest hits were Igbo influenced, they are proud igbos and flaunt their Anambra root that is why they featured Phyno in "Money" What of their songs like Ifunanya, Onyinye, Ego adigo... they are uncountable. 1 Like |

murphyibiam15:Anambra State is tiny enough and this your cut and join areas does not make sense a bit. South East states have the smallest landmass so cutting off some of the states to make another does not make sense at all. This to me sounds like a typical fund sharing gang that will introduce nothing meaningful to Igboland. ANIOMA people if they look beyond the stupid 'we are not Igbo' nonsense should be the best option. Make Anioma state and join them to South East, they even have the potential to challenge any state in the present South East. Thanks. 2 Likes |

Re: . by Nobody: 1:47pm On Nov 04, 2018 |
murphyibiam15: My brother if am to suggest and from what I have seen so far and on comments.....Adada state is more viable. Anambra has a small landmass compared to others sister states....reducing the land mass againn by carving orumba out makes no sense and orumba has repeatedly said they are not interested in been carved out of anambra. Any state creation or any one proposing new state should just remove their eyes from anambra.... Also Benue nd kogi serves a better option....that is based on my understanding ...... Let's source the new state towards ebonyi, benue, kogi and enugu....since u guys have been claiming that there are igbos inn those regions of benue and kogi.... My thought. |

Osagyefo98: How am I hyprocritical? Biafra is part of an Igbo man's life, part of his history! So realistic and tell yourself the truth sir. Do you mean I'm safe here in the north? My people did not die for "state creation" let's call a spade a spade 1 Like |

How many by way of advise have u given to us here inn the right direction? Even in north I can fully state u relate well with hausas more than ur fellow igbos.... This is pure hypocrisy nwannne. |

IkpuMmadu: You are probably guilty of this. Now, how can a man claim to be proud Igbo when his children dont speak Igbo language. If you marry a non Igbo your legacy is as good as erased. Your children will not speak Igbo and your grand children case will be worse. Mr. P is worst of them, he speaks a scrappy American English with bad tenses, married a half breed and gave his children slave names. Psquare made "beautiful onyinye" much after they were popular ,while Oduduwa boys were tearing the music industry with their language and culture. "Ifunanya" was an isolated incident because it was just the only Igbo song they made ,while they were still growing. 1 Like |

Osagyefo98: I am not saying you cant make your mother farmland a state but please leave Anambra out of it. No propaganda can ever cut an inch out of Anambra. Even if Nigeria go regionalism Anambra will remain as it is. I will support you with even money to create whatever you want but the thought of partitioning Anambra can send you to an early grave. Osagyefo98: How is a call for referendum a call for war please I need straight answers I ask again do you mean I'm safe here in the north We all know Nigeria is not working, it is beyond repair and you know that! Just I live in the north doesn't mean I should voice out my wish and that of my people I'm not an hyprocrite, what I say is the pure true. Majority of Igbos in the north support Biafra, do it mean they are hyprocritical like you stated? You are asking if I have helped the struggle financially please sir how about you? Our support is enough, freedom fighting is not all about money 1 Like |

frankfrancis871: Are u an alien to so many igbo blood lost since 4 years ago...hundreds of them if not thousand... Military Continue killing, intimidating and mowing igbos down in the east. How many times have they conducted python dance in ur lovely north? Has many times have u been harassed on the road in the north as if u are a thief? It was you guys in same north that said u are not in support of biafra or was it not una representative that visited sokoto, kaduna even kano to put the east struggling inn bad light as if we are fools. Don't hide under north and be playing hypocritical games....it will backfire. Amadioha is not asleep. |

InyinyaAgbaOku: You are right. I remember they were busy singing Yoruba songs like "Omoge mi" and "Gbedu". They wanted to be Yoruba so bad to fit into the then overwhelmingly Yorubanized Nigerian music industry. But it backfired, as they were snubbed of awards they felt they merited, and they started crying of how the industry has been tribalized by Yorubas. Perhaps that was when they started remembering their Igbo roots, as people like Nigga raw, Desperate chicks, Dekumzy, Slow dog, flavour, were already bringing Igbo language to the Nigerian music mainstream. But damn, Ifunanya and Onyinye were Big hits. 2 Likes |

frankfrancis871: You are responding to all these yorubas that will suddenly find fake "patroitism" and indivisibility of Nigeria once they hear the word "Biafra" Fortunately for them, they helped Biafra in no small way by campaigning for the incaceration of Nnamdi Kanu and invasion of his home last year to totally silence him through murder. I don't approve of Nnamdi Kanu's tactics of insulting people and using ONLY one approach. But Ndigbo are well within their rights as citizens of this world to hold a referendum to determine their future. It is indeed an article in the UN Human Rights declaration. My only hope is that Nnamdi Kanu understands that there are multiple levels that have been used to tie Igbos down in Nigeria. Such as through giving them 5 states, while others had 6 or 7, giving Igbo states the tiniest allocations, denying Igbo states of any Federal infrastructure, while using all sorts of gimmicks to create controversies on the existing such as AIIA, Enugu, Second Niger Bridge, Onitsha seaport, exclusion of the zone from national railway masterplan etc. to hide their true intention of shutting down the SE economically for good. We cannot merely keep talking "Referendum" for infinity, while our resources are stolen and used to develop other parts of Nigeria. Either we STOP the resources from being exploited and exported or we get a fair benefit from them as we decide what shape and form the referendum will take. Finally, we cannot simply abandon the politicial space just to prove that we want referendum. The full struggle for political power and equitable representation in Nigeria must be pursued with the full force as the referendum debate. Imagine if somebody like Sen Abaribe were not elected, which Senator would have signed Nnamdi Kanu's bail if we had people like Orji Uzor Kalu and Chris Ubah as Igbo senators? Therefore, you can see the folly of IPOB abandoning electing pro-Biafra representatives into all our public offices. My strong suspicion is that DSS already knows that if all SE public office holders were pro-Biafra, then the topic will inevitably be discussed at the highest levels of government. Therefore, they have spread the silly idea among IPOB that voting for elections in Nigeria amounts to voting against Referendum. It is so sad, but it is true that we IPOB now works for the enemy. Unless something is urgently done, IPOB will simply lose all its grassroot support and in time, they will increasingly be treated as Boko Haram members by even Igbos who will clearly view IPOB as not representing Igbo interests whatsoever. The ONLY thing Igbo had going for it in Nigeria have been the use of their God given brain to avoid the traps set for them by the Nigerian state. IPOB has so far showed that it is neither concerned about using the Igboman's brain to fight this struggle, nor do they have any desires to avoid booby traps set for them by Nigeria. It is a tragic mistake on their part to continue with a single strategy in the face of their enemies employing multiple strategies to cage them. Including trying to isolate their opinions in the SE. Because IPOB are run by a lot of exuberant young people, their simple response to any trap they cannot easily find a way to avoid is to step right into it and deal with the consequences down the line. That will be a suicidal mistake to make. 1 Like |

OMANBALA1:I hope you know anambra is very heterogenous. Anambra is not a people as most of you try to claim. Ihiala is 100% Imo stock and if they want form new state with their orlu kith and kin you can't stop them. In anambra every town is distinct and have little or nothing in common with a neighboring town. So be warned. You only speak for your town. This different in Enugu where the whole state is made up of only 5 groups: Nsukka, Udi, Nkanu, Awgu and Oji. With Nsukka accounting for nearly 50% of the state in both population and landmass it is unarguably the largest igbo sub group. Anambra is just a mere geographical expression |
