pazienza: This is a very good write up as always, very knowledgeable. However, I as a strategist, will always strategize. I will always tilt in the direction that will favour my people, be it Biafra or Nigeria. I will also prioritize my interest and as such, I arrived at the conclusion that in Nigeria, Adada is a necessary evil to get our Igbo people out of the middle-belt. That way, we can know wen fulani harm, them. With regards to the Igbo clan map, it is not a priority. Wen we get all our people into the SE, naturally, these things will sort themselves out. There is no rush, becos we are one people. |

hammerFC: Of course , Anambra has variants of dialects. From Aguleri traveling down it changes but the people remain the same. Oliver de coque is from Aguatta, now tell me how Aguatta speaks like Imo....lol 2 Likes |

Osagyefo98:This is a pan igbo forum. There is nothing divisive in the debate. Your monolithic claim is false and mischievous. Only nnewi north LGA is monolithic in Anambra state |
Re: . by pazienza(m): 4:48pm On Nov 04, 2018 |
hammerFC: I don't want our people getting attached to Nigerian states and LGAs. We should see them as nothing but a means to extract more from the national cake. Which is exactly what they are. Claiming that an Umuchukwu man is now more of a brother to the man from Idemili, than he is to the Eziama man in Abia state, he shares same language, boundary, food, masquerades, streams, etc with, because of silly Nigerian states creations, is no different from the Anioma man, who now thinks he's more related to the Urhobo, Isoko, Itsekiri, Edo, etc, just because the British man called Bernard Bourdillion separated Anioma from the rest of Igboland in 1939. Those who propagate the absurdity of Nigerian states as their new identities, while ignoring precolonial existing clans and kinships, are no different from Ikwerre, Ika, Ukwuani, Ogba, etc. Who are today assuming New identities given to them by Nigeria, while throwing away kinship shared with groups in SE. Let's think twice about this. 4 Likes |

Re: . by pazienza(m): 4:52pm On Nov 04, 2018 |
OMANBALA1: Nwanne, what are you talking about here. I don't understand this your post. Isu is spread across Imo North , Abia North Anambra South and Parts of Enugu. Their language is the language we associate with Imo state today. Many people don't even know that Imo state don't have a single language too. They are not monolithic as well. 1 Like |

pazienza:Oga thank you so much sir. There are no large groups in anambra. Only independent towns. In enugu, the whole state is made up of only five groups |
Re: . by hammerFC: 4:57pm On Nov 04, 2018 |
Anybody that look closely can see that from all angle, they are looking for small pieces of Anambra to collect. Well, count us out of any state creation in the SE. No part of Anambra want to be added anywhere. Leave us as we are. 2 Likes 1 Share |
Re: . by basilo101: 4:58pm On Nov 04, 2018 |
pazienza:There is actually no monolithic state that's why the fraudulent claim by anambra must not be allowed to fester. Anambra has no large groups like other states |
Re: . by basilo101: 5:00pm On Nov 04, 2018 |

basilo101: Pan-igbo forum but to u is pan-anambra. I cannot even remember the last time, I just wake up and start digging other igbo sister states. Anambra as a whole is monolithic. Just leave it for us that way. Coz is not in ur power to decide for us.....biko. 1 Like |

IzuAgu: Lol! There is nothing like Anambra dialect. I was in Amesi n Aguata for an event yesterday. The language sounded funny. I swear, I thought I was in Imo state. If a man from that part of Aguata comes to Ilo ngwodo, Nkwo ezi udo, Afor Igwe or Ogbe otu and start speaking that their language, my people will call him "Onye Imo". They were speaking conc Isu language there as indigenous language. I wanted to interview the people more about their origin, but I ran out of time. Yes! Idemili/Njikoka/Anaocha/Dunukofia/Oyi dialect cluster is the quintessential language people ignorantly call "Anambra language". It's the lightest form of Igbo language, it's not nasalized at all, and it avoids harsh diphthongs like "sh" sounds like mad. It's exotic and sweet to the ear. It loves simplicity and strives to keep things simple. For example. Nwabunwanne becomes "Nwaa'nne", notice how "bu" was removed. Chibuzo becomes "Chi'uzo", m mafu ama gi ula becomes " m mafu ama 'I ula". Notice the omission of letter "g". Every unbiased Igbo knows deep inside that this dialectical cluster found in Anambra is the sweetest, lightest and easiest to understand of all Igbo dialects. 3 Likes |
