Anybody that look closely can see that from all angle, they are looking for small pieces of Anambra to collect.

Well, count us out of any state creation in the SE.

No part of Anambra want to be added anywhere.

Leave us as we are.

Adada state is the only propsed state accepted by both the new state and the parent state. Nobody is pushing for new state creation from anambra. However, laying claim to homogeneity must be countered because it's fraudulent

Is now obvious our brothers are losing sleep on matters that shouldn't be of concern to them.

Lol! There is nothing like Anambra dialect. I was in Amaisi in Aguata for an event yesterday.
The language sounded funny. I swear, I thought I was in Imo state. angry
If a man from that part of Aguata comes to Ilo ngwodo, Nkwo ezi udo, Afor Igwe or Ogbe otu and start speaking that their language, my people will call him "Onye Imo".

They were speaking conc Isu language there as indigenous language.
I wanted to interview the people more about their origin, but I ran out of time.

Yes! Idemili/Njikoka/Anaocha/Dunukofia/Oyi dialect cluster is the quintessential language people ignorantly call "Anambra language".
It's the lightest form of Igbo language, it's not nasalized at all, and it avoids harsh diphthongs like "sh" sounds like mad.
It's exotic and sweet to the ear. It loves simplicity and strives to keep things simple.

For example. Nwabunwanne becomes "Nwaa'nne", notice how "bu" was removed. Chibuzo becomes "Chi'uzo", m mafu ama gi ula becomes " m mafu ama 'I ula". Notice the omission of letter "g".

Every unbiased Igbo knows deep inside that this dialectical cluster found in Anambra is the sweetest, lightest and easiest to understand of all Igbo dialects.

I liken it to American English

Nwanne, what are you talking about here. I don't understand this your post.

Isu is spread across Imo North , Abia North Anambra South and Parts of Enugu.

Their language is the language we associate with Imo state today.
Many people don't even know that Imo state don't have a single language too. They are not monolithic as well.

I get that but today we have Anambra and all over the world communities will emerge one way or another. All the towns in Anambra today has been interacting for centuries before the state was created ,so, its not like people were moved and merged together.Lousinna people were originally but today they are Americans and proud. Ihiala bu Ndi Anambra and I know a certain Chijioke Ngobili on Facebook and he will rather die than allow his town to be carved out.

You are beginning to sound like those Igbo denying Anioma groups who create non existing Delta identity and defend it violently, and accuse those who try to punture there lies, of being land grabbers.
grin

After this your current show, what moral ground would you have to criticize those Igboids again?
How different are you from them? You are clinging unto artificially created boundaries by Nigeria, like those groups are doing. And you accuse those who point out inter clan relationships that predates these artificial Nigerian states and regions creations , of land grabbing and of having ulterior motives against you. grin

I bet you now know how those Igboids feel when you ask them to collapse their Nigerian created artificial boundaries and identities. cool

Nobody in Nigeria outside the South East will back the idea of creating more tiny states from the already tine states in South East. Hug states like Kano will agitate and get three more.
All these Adada, Akwuakwu, Agaga, Anana, Njaba, Nnaba etc are for nothing but group of people planing on squeezing to Abuja oil money share.
Add more Igbo states from Benue or Anioma is the way to go.

Living and interacting for centuries and deciding to remain in one state does not make anambra a homogeneous entity. Otherwise Nigeria should be considered homogeneous too

States creations in Nigeria can never be about landmass anymore it is about viability.

At the bold. This is exactly why states exist in Nigeria. Our own cannot be different, if not, states like Gombe, Zamfara and co, shouldn't exist, as they are not viable.

Ide nna, arent you been a little disingenuous here. You are comparing apple and oranges and that is not a legitimate argument. The Igboid in Delta are denying Igbo but thats not the case here. We are saying that we want our fatherland as it is today to remain untouched. We are not telling you not to marry your mbaise girlfriend or not to eat ofe owerri but dont tamper with out fathers land. You can preach your Igbo unity from morning till night I will not bother you but IDE NNAA there is a line you must not cross. Ya bu ogu adiro ebe aya anua. Lets talk about economic advancement of Igbo land and leave Anambra borders alone, Olisa bi na igwe kam ji ayo gi. W e have had both brotherly and gentlemans relationship for many years and I hope it remains so.

Nigerians can say that all ethnic groups in Nigeria have been interacting with each other over centuries and that with time, all groups in Nigeria will merge as one. Hence, there is no need for Biafra.

Infact, some Hausa Fulanis like Mohammed Haruna are already pushing this logic as basis for Nigerian unity not being negotiable.

What's with all the noise about dialectal differences in Anambra, is it only in Anambra that such is found because I thought this had been discussed earlier on this this thread and some others.
The fact is that from Umunze to Ihiala, Nzam to Azia, Awka to Osumenyi, Onitsha to Amichi, the people love and cherish their Anambra or Omambala identity and that's all that matters, nobody with origin from within the Anambra boundary wants to opt out.
That the Awka dialect has some similarities with Ugwuoba in Enugu doesn't make an Awka man closer to an Ugwuoba, same for an Ufuma man closer to an Inyi man in Enugu, or for an Ihiala man closer to Orlu or an Onitsha man closer to an Asaba man.
My point is this, inspite of those differences, we have that Omambala spirit and that is what pulls us together as one people.
State creation is cool but Anambra must not be touched.

The reason why no state has been carved in South East is because of Landmass and nothing more.
Start the debate anywhere anytime and see the directed counter reactions from non Eastners.

Nigerian constitution considers Landmass as one of the most important criterias.
And for the record Gombe, Zamfara etc are all bigger than any South Eastern state.

It will not fly because we didnt interct with Hausa nor Yoruba before the whiteman came. So, that argument fall flat on its face. However, we traded with Igala and Bini little wonder we never really had real issues with the later. But because with didnt have any contact with hausa and yoruba it was had to find means of understanding, henceforth, the conflicts. You are smarter than what you are doing now.

States like Texas are like 12times bigger than states like New Jersey, Delaware, etc.
No Nigerian group will ever support anything that would profit Ndiigbo. They are all wired to be Igbophobic by default, so why should we think about what they think about our demand? We simply state and push for our demands.
It's simple as that.
Adada, Aba, Etiti, Njaba, etc states, will all have more valuable human resources than the entire Zamfara and Gombe combined. How about that?
