Rubbish

Everything is correct. "Flash" is a Nigerian slang which Nigerians understand. British people even understand it through context.

"I saw your missed call" is both grammatically and contextually correct. You actually saw a missed call in your call history on your phone.

The line is actually cracking up. But then, if the line is cracking up, the voice must also be cracking up. Therefore, "your voice is cracking" is correct, if only technically.

Hi Nairalanders, permit me to share these 5 simple PHONE LANGUAGE we misuse daily, could be of help to someone.

(1) Do not say: "I saw your missed call".
...Say: "I missed your call".

(2) Do not say: "Your voice is cracking".
...Say: 'The line is breaking".

(3) Do not say: "Flash me".
...Say: "Give me a drop-call, beep me, or give me a beep".

(4) Do not say: "I am hearing you".
...Say: "I can hear you".

(5) Do not say: "Come again".
...Say: "I can't hear you".

Note: Etymologically, the word 'telephone' comes from Latin and Greek.
'Tele' in Latin means 'distance' and 'phone' in Greek means 'sound'. So, the compound word becomes
'distance sound' -TELEPHONE.
°Now you know better.

Not that we don't know the real words but definitely we gotta create our own version of the grammar

Speak for yourself. Most Nigerians are not good with the English language.

If someone calls you, allow the person to end the call and vice-versa.

Interesting. The I saw your missed calls is so rampant.I guess it has to do with we trying to translate our local dialect to English language.
forget it. The OP is neither wrong nor correct. I saw your missed call is not wrong. When you re without your phone and you have a missed call, you use your eyes to see the notification so it isn't wrong to let them know you saw the missed call notification.

There was a report about a pastor who released a sextape involving him and a lover... It was on Front Page, even.

Well... Here goes: https://www.xvideos.com/video40711727/nigerian_pastor_funking_his_mistress

So what should we do with it

lol. Don't go and fall your hand sha o. Most of what the OP said re wrong re actually correct. For example, I saw ur missed call isnt either grammatically wrong or contextually wrong. You see missed calls on your phone's notification screen so when you say you saw a missed call, it is not wrong. Figure the others out.

This borrowed English Language has turned us to somthn else. In the actual sense what is communication, or rather if i say "i saw your missed call" would you say you do not understand me? Even the an Englishman that has the language will understand me. In Nigeria we want everything to be perfect while we're not.
