No issue and nothing to be seen except for two hysterical people that think immigration laws/policies of other countries don't apply to them.

Next time go to Obudu Ranch for vacation. Bring the Euro home.

Did you honestly post because you felt like posting or you didn't watch the video?
Those ladies did not go to Tanzania for vacation as a matter of fact they revealed the load of crap that Nigerians are thrown when they visit Tanzania even with valid visas.

Why would I post an opinion without watching the video? The suggestion makes no sense.

They didn’t have a visa.

A PSA for Nigerians that travel. Just because a country offers VOA doesn’t mean that you can’t apply for a visa. Especially coming from a known fraudulent country like ours.

A visa also doesn’t guarantee entrance to any country.

In the future I guess I’ll check with you before posting my opinion so that it’s inline with yours angry

Right there.... that's why I asked you if you watched the video because you are still not getting the point.

Firstly those ladies are Permanent residents of Ireland with residency permits and they were coming from Ireland not Nigeria so certain things didn't apply to them (they just held Nigerian passports). However the Ladies were even insulted by the Chief immigration officer asking how they even acquired Irish residency in the first place... what an outrage! Are Nigerians garbage?

Secondly the embassy of Tanzania was not in Ireland to make the visa inquiry, because according to their testament on the video "they, being very meticulous people on that regard" explored that option and it wasn't possible.
They were even told by the airline that they could use the visa on arrival option as they were eligible for it (airlines won't even allow you get on a flight without the right visa, they have systems that check for visa eligibility) there are policies that should be followed regardless... if they had Irish passports that wouldn't have been the case.

Thirdly they were treated harshly at the airport just because they were Nigerians, based on their testament, the chief immigration officer told them; even if they had the visa or not he wouldn't let them "Nigerians", in... wasn't that toxic enough?

Fourthly they were deported without reason... because the person who escorted them (and showed a bit of empathy) agreed that it was true they didn't update their system with the new information so it was up to the discretion of the chief immigration officer to let them in... however the man hates Nigerians.

Fifth, people also gave comments on social media during the video of similar treatment metted to them by Tanzanian immigration officials because they held Nigerian passports, however since they knew influential people in Tanzania, they were let in.

My issue is, what is the ministry of foreign affairs doing about this? Like I am tired of hearing Nigerians being victimized world over.

I have had similar experiences that's why I am livid.

You were telling them to go to Obudu cattle ranch, first of all does that address the fact they were victimized?
Secondly does it make sense that those same Tanzanians come to Nigeria visafree to visit that same Obudu cattle ranch and other places, but those ladies who were even going to startup a medical agency in Tanzania were deported because they were Nigerians... doesn't that bother you?

Think about it

I don’t have to get your point, we’re not twins.

I stand behind my comments. This is a non event by a couple of hysterical YouTubers with an entitlement bias.

You’re a citizen of whatever country you hold a passport in thus they’re Nigerians.

Entering any country as a foreigner is a privilege and not a right, even if they had a visa. Why not fly into a country where there’s an embassy?

PS: please note that I did not quote you in my original post and just commented in general.

I didn't state if you got "My Point" it wasn't my video, I meant "The Point" of the video.

You may refer to their video as hysterical et al, but they were trying to pass a serious message across and your attitude towards that message was very casual, which is why I quoted you.

They provided all the evidence such as pictures, and called names... that's enough for one to trace home.

Entering another country is a privilege-true, but there are standard policies, rules and regulations in place which are not to be violated in such instances, as a violation of such policies could be regarded as an assault to diplomacy. Which was quite obvious in this case, the Ladies were victimized on the basis of their nationality. And this isn't the first time I have heard of this.

I have decided to follow up this case on a personal note though.

Follow up on exactly what?

That a sovereign country denied entry (not deported) a couple of troublemakers from a known fraudulent country and that can’t follow the rules and regulations?

Okay then. Good luck with that grin

This is very sad, the Tanzanian immigration officers should be hugely sanctioned they make it look like mere holding a Nigerian passport you are officially a criminal, despite those ladies telling them the official website of the country still says Nigerians can get visa on arrival why not update your website after you change the rule for Nigerians. African leaders need to be more relaxed about their visa policies for all African citizens, that was a very painful experience by those ladies.

Why should the Tanzanian immigration officers be sanctioned from carrying out their duties?

Charity, they say - begins at home.

Why not sanction the bastards of our citizens giving us bad names within & outside the Country carrying cocaine upandan, trafficking underage girls for prostitution & engaging in wire-wire fraud to just satisfy their greed?

The only way Nigeria will ever progress & prosper is if she is disintegrated so that everybody can start allover.

I used to be to a very patriotic citizen with the hope that one day, everything will turnaround for good but as I typing this - if Nigeria will explode & burn, let it explode.

Nigeria is never worth dying for. As hundreds of people are working to put Nigeria in the forward-working gear, millions are counter-working & putting it in reverse.

Look at what is going on in Kaduna. Because you're a governor (El-Rufai) & want to install an Emir (a muslim king) over the Southern Kaduna people who are mostly christians - you empowered your illiterate people with weapons & ordered the security agencies to shield them - and blood dimmed tide of anarchy was let loose on the Southern Kaduna folks - abducting & killing their King in the process, only for you to come out with series of PR campaign by sharing useless pictures on all social media platforms just to launder your cursed image.

What about Jos? Before General Alkali was killed by the locals, thousands of their people have been brutally killed by the Hausa/Fulani and the government (especially the Nigerian Army) never did anything about it. Now that one of their own who happens to be a General was killed and they're raising empty & useless dusts.

What about the menace of the Fulani Herdsmen ? Some of them have been seen roaming about with Ak-47s? Who gave it to them and for what purpose?

And after the government of the day succeeded in destroying the fragile economy, the bastards are still debating the minimum wage - even when the prices of everything you can think of have quadrupled due to their trial & error economic approach.

Other Countries far & near are paying close attention to what is happening in Nigeria, and will not hesitate to rub it in our faces by maltreating our citizens since they know our government is full of shiiit, just like what happened some time ago when an Egypt Airline official tore a Nigerian Passport & nothing was done about it except tendering a useless apology that couldn't buy a sachet of purewater.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vanguardngr.com/2014/09/horror-egypt-air-wrongly-flew-another-country-tore-passport-locked/amp/

I could go on & on but I'm telling you - if Nigeria will burn, we're ready.
