PLEASE I HAVE ASKED THIS QUESTION FOR DAYS NO ANSWER. ABEG I NEED AN ADVICE ON WHAT TO DO PLEASE...... Happy weekend my people!!!!!! Please I would like to know the kind of visa that is suitable for a day paid course and other corses with different dates but free coures that fall between 3weeks. Secondly I want to apply for 2years visa after I had gotten the first UK visa they gave me 6months which expired April this year and now I want to renew for 2years but they say I need to go for tuberculous test if I will be staying for more than 6months. My concern is this, if am going for a course which I will spend just three weeks and come back, do I still need to go for the test since am applying for 2 years. Thirdly, is it wrong to tell the embassy that I will stay in my cousin's house for the period of the course. Thanks for your usual coroperation.
Chibabe4Christ: |

tasho105:
[Many thanks for this response @Nsiehi...God bless. 1.Pls is it for UK tourist visa? 2. first timer? 3.when did you apply? 4. Duration of stay at the hostel? 5. Budget breakdown pls? Awaiting your response pls quote author=Nsiehi Yes, it was a 6 month tourist visa. My first application was denied because of my budget which was more than twice my income after tax and basic monthly expenditure. I had to modify my budget in the subsequent application and was granted visa.. I spent 8 days in the UK and in a lovely, neat, comfortable hostel throughout my stay. My budget breakdown: Flight (economy return) £520 Accommodation (@£15/night x 8nights) £120 Feeding at £10 per day £80 Transportation £50 Tourism £50 Miscellaneous £30 Total : £850 this is about 406,000 Naira. NB In my actual spending on feeding, I did not use up to £40 because I prepared my meals throughout my stay. The hostel has big kitchen, giant refrigerators where hostel guests store their food, dining area, computer room where you can study and a lounge where you watch TV and socialise. |

Chibabe4Christ: TB test is for immigration visa and not for non-immigration visa application which is where yours falls into. Apply for standard visiting visa and select a sub-type which is academy but I doubt if you will be given 2yrs under that category. You may have to go for 6months again or risk two yrs..who knows you might be given |

Hello Gurus in the house. Please I need your expert views/inputs as regards the history of my previous visa applications and the new one I am about making. My first family visit application to go visit my husband who is resident in the UK (we got married traditionally plus church blessing in January 2014 but no court (legal) marriage until October 2018)was denied in January 2017 reason given as in the attached document. So in my first application I referred to my husband as my "unmarried" partner. I made another application in August same year (2017) and got a similar response. I can't readily place my hand on the refusal letter for now but will upload when found. Now I want to attempt it again but this time around with our baby girl of almost 8 months old. Your kindly advise is needed on what I could have been doing wrongly in the past applications and how to avoid another refusal. Our baby was born in the US and I know she does not require a visa to go to the UK so my other question is do I include her passport in my own application as accompanying or make an application for her as well. Thank you

Thanks so much Justwise. My reasons for applying for 2 years is that I have planned courses to attend within the two years and also the visa application centre is far from where I stay and will not have to expose myself of risk and stress of travelling every 6months for visa renewal. PLEASE IS THE REASON OK OR ARE YOU INSISTING I APPLY FOR 6MONTHS. PLEASE OOO I HAVE STARTED MY UK APPLICATION BUT WISH TO CONTINUE, I COULDNT BECAUSE THE THEY GAVE WENT TO MY OFFICIAL MAIL WHICH I CANNOT HAVE ASSESS TO WHEN AT HOME. PLEASE CAN SOMEONE SEND ME THE LINK ABEG OOOOOO PLS I WILL APPRECIATE YOUR QUICK RESPONSE justwise: |

OMOLARAFE: It’s important to find out about your husband’s status in the U.K before making another application because his ILR status is in question. When you are holding ILR you can leave the U.K for two years or more. Tell him to call Home Office to find out how to ratify his status |
