I'm not even talking now. Allan has put together 3 solid seasons at Napoli. Jorginho was doing likewise, yet they disrespected him so long in favour of farmers like Paulinho, Ramires, Felipe Melo, Luiz Gustavo etc so he decided to pick Italy.

Brazil's midfield has been dysfunctional for close to a decade now, yet they keep ignoring the skilfull ones. Fernandinho himself was ignored till he was almost 30, and they still ignore him now.

Fernandinho is 33, will be 37 by the next World cup.
