The point is Henry is not a poor coach but needs time to rescue the sinking ship. He did not take over a stellar side. The rough patch is normal and with time he can steady the ship.
What has Henry done to show he isn't a poor coach?

What has Henry done to show he is a bad coach? He took over a sinking ship and he is trying to salvage it under tough conditions. The Monaco team should be patient. Keep in mind Monaco has over 9 players out due to injuries. It is a tough condition.

Finito.

You too like quarrel shooo na wah !!!

The bold is at the heart of the matter emotive bias not based on proven fact or objectivity.

Now your being a little bit delusional Osimhen your son at the much less competitive Bundesliga and Wolfsburg. Essentially couldn't make the bench.

Liverpools forgotten man Origi went on loan to Wolfsburg and relegated your son Osimhen to the youth team. The same Origi that's struggling for games at Liverpool. And you think Osimhen will now walk into Liverpool first team.

@ the bolded ..abeg don't misinform people oo.. Origi is in no way a forgotten man at Liverpool... He left on loan to Wolfsburg last season because Klopp doesn't usually play an out and out striker . Klopp is more adapted to using Firmino as a false9 the automatically makes every other striker at Liverpool second choice.. Origi performed well in most games he played under Klopp... but it was a world cup season and he wanted more playing time hence his move to Wolfsburg.. unfortunately the move didn't go well and he is now third choice behind Sturridge and Firmino and well ahead of your beloved Solanke who had d chance to displace him permanence last season..

Wolfsburg changed coaches twice or thrice last season so you really can't blame osimhen for not getting game time . plus he was injured. Solanke had it easier last season....

From Wiki on Diego Simeone:

On 7 November 2008, Simeone announced his resignation as coach of River Plate after their elimination in the quarter-finals of the 2008 Copa Sudamericana by Mexican side Chivas and a poor run of form of 11 domestic matches without a win, which left them bottom of the Primera División Argentina with only six matches remaining

If you judge Simeone on this patch, he will look poor. With patience and adjusting his philosophy, he was able to turn out a top manager. I hope Monaco are patient with Henry. It was already a damaged team before his arrival.

The committee will commence work immediately after the SA vs Nigeria AFCON qualifiers and the Nigeria Vs Uganda Friendly. We want to make sure to see every game before nominating players.

Me I do not need wiki for this kind of thing because I am a huge follower of River Plate back then. Followed them during when Pellegrini was their coach. For confirmation, see this link from Reuters:

Simeone quits as coach of bottom side River Plate

(Reuters) - Former Argentina captain Diego Simeone quit as coach of River Plate on Friday, one day after their dismal domestic form was compounded by elimination from the Copa Sudamericana.

"He has told us that, as from Sunday, he will no longer be coach," River Plate director Rodolfo Cuina told the cable news channel TN from Mexico, where River were knocked out by Guadalajara on Thursday.

Simeone, who won 106 caps, played at three World Cups and was famously involved in the sending-off of David Beckham at the France '98 finals, has seen his team drop to the bottom of the championship after a run of 11 domestic games without a win.

I just copied the Wiki link to show evidence. I followed River Plate for a while. They are my best team in Argentina, although I have stopped following them for a while. I watched Alexis Sanchez play for River Plate, Watched D'Alessandro, Radamel Falcao there.

You need to have watched them then. At this time, I think Eric Lamela was still in the Academy. This clip will give you a hint how wonderful River Plate was. It was a goal by Falcao with Sanchez and Buonanotte also pulling some nice moves.

Diego Simeone's face at the end of the clip was priceless. Such humiliation.

Sunday Mba the one tournament wonder. The hero of 2013grin. Last I heard of him he was in Brescia in France second division......I think he is somewhere in the less desirable clubs in Turkey now. grin.

Lesson for NPFL players desperate to get into any club as long as it's oyibo land.

Another interesting clip of Falcao and Buonanotte (later joined Pellegrini at Malaga but a freak car crash damaged the young man from reaching top heights) when they were at River Plate.

To the best of my knowledge, Brescia is Italian, not French because Roberto Baggio played there and even Guardiola.

Well,no regrets about Sunday Mba.

He peaked when we needed him to.

His local title is "Ogbu Efi one" or "Ogbu Enyi" which ever dialect u chose. That is "the slayer of the Elephant".

Age has definitely caught up with him but he remains a Hero. And good Rep for the local league.

Ironically I hardly follow our local league. I think it is due to our poor pitches and result in poor plays. There was a brief time I liked Lobi Stars when they had some brilliant young talents including Greg Etafia the goalie, Sunday Ibeji (highly skillful midfielder) and Emma Issah who was a lethal left footed forward.

Followed Eagle Cement Fc (later named Dolphins) when they reached the challenge Cup finals. Then briefly 3SC when Baldwin Bazuaye was there. Apart from that, nothing.

Even now, I have no idea what is going on.

I hope the LMC AND NFF prioritise the development of good pitches around the country to develop our football. With that, more brilliant tacticians can express their ideas on the pitch and creative talents stand out. Until then, team play of our local teams will remain poor.

Henry is learning the hard way that punditry and coaching are two very different things.
He's not even a stellar pundit to begin with. Being a good assistant coach doesn't also equal to being a good head coach.

Actually his punditry has shown to be suspect at times.
G Neville who I consider a better pundit flopped big time.
It wouldn't surprise me if Henry flops too.

I would put Dean Furman in the midfield but I agree with Khune, That guy has the best delivery in football, a complete keeper.
