Odey is a young player so why can't we? Remember a young Nigerian started for the Swiss in the world cup so why are you trying to down the league?

I am not downing the league. It's facts. It is not a highly rated league.

We have an embarassment of attacking options right now. Odey is definitely an option in the near future

I won't bring myself to the level of trading insults with you. If you can't handle a civilized argument, then I'm sorry I have to take a walk.
shut up. It is now you wanna take the high road Cos you couldn’t handle the hit no more. You goes about throwing insult to people only for you to seek for cover “I don’t wanna trade insult with you” when you can’t no longer handle the hit. Same ting you did with safari girl few days ago. See ehn I fit add to your already frustrated life. Let me remind you.. I am from edo state, bini through and through and you know what we can do. Make I hear Bim from your mouth again. Oga! Oga! Oshimen is in which club again? Odey is starting for his team now in the Europa League against Bayern Leverkusen, do you think that is beans? Chukwueze just played his first match for Villarreal B, since he has been playing for the team B. Odey deserves it, his claim is reinforced by the fact that he has actually been performing for years now, he cannot force buyers to come, but he has scored everywhere he has played. I am not saying he must be invited but saying that he is playing at a low club when we invited Oshimen and Chukwueze is hypocritical

Personally, i think it is too early for Osimhen and Chulwueze too.

But Chukwueze strikes me as something special. We will see.

This is the first season that Odey has performed in Europe. He was not great last season. So he also falls into the group of wait and see as well.

Odey is an option on the wings as well.

Musa and Kelechi can play through the middle too.

lol, oga mickael nothing dey on between me and nacho, I just don’t like when some people derived joy bashing the young man falsely. Someone even said freekick is not crucial in a game just because he wanted to get cheap access to ridicule the upcoming ”free kick specialist”. Imagine the dude saying that ighalo can’t score goal without a functional midfield and he expect alien kid nacho to score without a functional midfield, abi dat one nor be double standard? Same way dey derive joy in bashing the alien player, same way i derive joy in calling them out.

I remember a player called Delap, he wasn't outstanding but he was always sure of a starting place for Stoke City because he was outstanding when it comes to throw-ins so no I disagree with that one, set pieces or anything for that matter that gives your team an added advantage is definitely vital in football. However, if we want to look at it this way, Stoke City then had a lot of tall players so they depended on those long throws and you could see them scoring goals from them. Do we as a team depend on pur set piece ability to score goals? When was the last time we scored from a set piece? In that case I don't think in our present setting it makes sense to play a particular player just because he is good in that aspect when we don't even utilise it at all.

So you see? You are right by saying that set pieces are vital and anybody that can take care of them well enough should always have an added advantage over others. Then he too may not exactly be wrong considering we haven't exactly been scoring from them. Even if Iheanacho is playing, for some reason he is not usually the one who even takes the freekick

Iheanacho has been disappointing in recent times in the National Colours. Rohr will not play Nacho has 10. Never! He seems to have lost confidence in the young man.

Agreed 100% without bias. As it stands,Isaac Success is most likely to lead the attack against south Africa. since d first leg against them last year,Rohr hasn't started Nacho has a lone striker ..

That is precisely the point he is making. We need Nacho taking more freekicks because the other guys waste them. We surely get freekicks and keeping Nacho off them does us more harm than good.

Odey didn't have the luxury of learning in a proper football environment. I mean he developed here in Nigeria, was always going to struggle in his first season over there, but after just a season, just one he has taken the league by storm. Even Vinicius is finding it difficult in Madrid so an average first season is perfectly okay.

However if you say Oshimen, Chukwueze and Odey are all not ready, who else do we have then that is performing?

Can you recall any dangerous free kick we for in the two matches against Libya? I don't know if the players do not fall there or the referees do not award the freekicks but we usually get at most one decent free kick opportunity in two games, that isn't enough to start a player because of his free kick ability. That is not to say that Nacho brings nothing other than that

I don't want to get involved in this Iheanacho argument but I will say the bitter truth. Since iheancho left Man city, he has dropped badly. Even if you don't play, training week in week out with the likes of De bryune and co improves your game. Guardolia no drive am comot, Guardolia said and i quote " He wants to move for first team opportunities, if the move goes through or not, he is still part of the group". The iheancho we saw against Tanzania and Zambia, where is he? Iheancho's goal that was goal of the week on CNN where is he?

Remind me because am not too sure when he was having this record I believed he was at Man city. But the moment he switched over to Leicester City, his overall performance for the national team seem to be in declivities.. He had at the early stage of his national team career carried a goal record that made me believe he could out score rasheed yekini within a short time.. Am not too sure perhaps the house can help me out he scored something like 8 goals in 8 games for the national team. This had happened while still at Man City

of course we haven’t been making use of set piece Cos nacho doesn’t start match. The last time we scored from setpiece was against Seychelles and it was from nacho freekick ( awasiem scores the rebound ). Will nacho live up to expectation and proof his critic wrong? Time shall tell.

Of the three, Chukwueze is the one, i am most impressed by because he is breaking into a top league and not looking out of place.

I want to see them continue the good form till the end of the season and perhaps move to bigger leagues.

What I'm saying is that those players who played PARTICULARLY BADLY on the day should be axed for fresh faces.

So, who flopped the most in that match? Who spearheaded our blunt attack? Which striker was unable to convert any of the opportunities given to him especially in the early minutes when we dominated the game?.

Could it be our darling superstriker Lionel Iheanachonaldo? grin.

Since u want to go there, please mention one chance our darling Luka Etebo created that day? grin

NFF Boss Pinnick Cites The Bible To Justify Reinstatement Of Disgraced Super Eagles Coach
Published: November 08, 2018

Nigeria Football Federation supremo Amaju Pinnick has cited the Bible to justify his decision to reinstate disgraced Super Eagles coach Salisu Yusuf as soon as he finishes serving a one-year ban.

It would be recalled that the CHAN Eagles boss was banned from all football-related activities by the NFF following its consideration of a complaint as well as the coach's defense of a video documentary in which he was seen to accept the sum of $1,000 from an undercover reporter posing as a players' agent.

''Salisu Yusuf would come back as the Eagles assistant coach after his suspension. He still has a contract with the NFF,'' Pinnick told a local radio station, as reported by Guardian Nigeria.

''It is not that I am supporting Salisu Yusuf for what he did. In life, there is nobody that has not fallen short of anything one way or the other. The coach has realised his mistakes and he needs to be forgiven.

''If God could forgive us for our sins, who are we as human beings not to forgive others.

''In the Bible, Jesus Christ told the people, whoever had not committed sin before should cast the first stone on a woman who committed sin.''

Salisu Yusuf had accepted a cash gift $1,000 from Tigers Player's Agency, an undercover reporter, purportedly interested in acting on behalf of Osas Okoro and Rabiu Ali, for their inclusion in the list of players for 2018 CHAN in Morocco.

You are being incoherent. The talk was you saying Nacho has been in the squad due to a possibility of bribe. I am asking you if you would not have called Nacho and you are talking of spring season.

Use words carefully. The young man has worked hard and represented us well. The least we can do is respect him. He will still find his footing to help his career and the Super Eagles.

I don't understand all this argument abut NACHO,

I for one had Neva and will never see him as astiker, or support striker again,
he should had stay in city, and develop his his game as a 10 he is, but his goals, seems to get to him hence his always knack for it, rather than develop his position as an AM,

too bad he is on a decline, with his constant position of a striker/cf, he won't find his feet

NOTE: am not hating on him, if anyone can show me his natural position, then we can rumble on it thanks pals

I totally disagree with this. An outright sack is the best solution because Coach Yusuf's action brought disrepute to the selection process of the Super Eagles. Keeping him makes it look like there are shady deals going on in the selection process and a sack would have begun to restore confidence in the coaching crew.

I have answered the question repeatedly. Nacho has a killer attribute. When utilized properly, he pulled stats with some of the best in the game. His best attribute is his finishing. Which means he is a striker.

In the SA game, we played with zero supply and Rohr's conservative style has hindered us enjoying the electric finishing of Nacho.

Find the best attribute of a player and you find his position.

Unless you have another theory, it is...
