Enugu should marry from Enugu or ebonyi state or benue state
Imo should marry from Imo or abia state or akwa ibom or rivers state.

Abia should marry from ebonyi, Imo, akwa ibom or enugu
Ebonyi should marry from enugu, benue, plateau, abia or any Northern state

Anambra should marry from Anambra....strictly from anambra.

lol.

you are disturbing yourself too much about this matter. What do you have to say about the women in other ethnic groups who are ignored because of Igbo women? Igbo men make the tribe. As long as Igbo men keep marrying Igbo women, I'm OK with it because, there are enough Igbo women in the east to go round. If Igbo women keep marrying non-Igbos, it doesn't really matter to me. One thing there is that, such Igbo women who marry non-Igbos should be considered non-Igbos and their children will not be recognized by the Igbo society.

Our women are not for the whole Nigeria.

They are for us and that is the main point.

Following the Biafra war, alot of our women were raped and carried off never to be seen again.

I am not sure if this present thread is related to the Biafra war conquest of Igbo land.

Prior to Biafra war, I dont think Igbo women were married in such numbers by Aboki and Afonja.

I feel uncomfortable having this exchange with you because i find you to be quite disgusting if i'm to be perfectly honest! I know you're the linchpin of this entire operation, a totally nasty piece of work, and an insecure Igbo hating bigot to boot! I'm also certain you know the person or are the one that cloned my IGBOSON moniker, and i ask: to what end....what do you hope to achieve?

Stop being evasive and prancing around in circles! Hell will first freeze over before i tell a despicable toad like you my name!

I've told you where i'm from, Ndoni, and consider myself to be Igbo! DO YOU THINK I'M IGBO OR IGBO ENOUGH SEEING AS I'M NOT FROM ANY OF THE 5 SOUTH-EASTERN STATES?

Bro I never knew you are the Legendary Igboson. The originator of IMO state developmental thread and the Igbo defender.

You seemed to had gone off for a while.

I'll follow you from now.

You are veering off the tangent once again, nobody cares what happened in the war cause lots of Biafran soldiers did marry other women from the old Midwestern region and other minorities in large numbers and committed some atrocities on women as much as the Nigerian side.. It's war so shit happens. The point here is that, 90% of Igbo women proudly marry from Igboland.. The negligibly few ones are entitled to marry whomever they want, doesn't make them any less Igbo.

Everybody wants an Igbo woman, you can't stop the trend. Leave Igbo women to marry who they want whether he is Igbo or not. As an Igbo man, it is expected of you to marry an Igbo woman in other to give birth to full blooded Igbo sons who will also continue the trend. You are the tribe not the woman, that is why every Igbo man prays to God to have a male child or male children even without a female child.

You really sound like a mentally ill person, little wonder you are so obsessed with rape and female exploitation... not sure what your agenda is but you really need to seek help before you lose it.

This is unacceptable, her story should be shared far and wide to prevent such occurrences from happening in the future.

Furthermore, we need to discover the root cause for why this is occurring and then a solution can be found. What are some short term solutions to prevent this in the future?

Igbo women that marry Yoruba men suffer alot and some of the marriages end fatal.

Either she or him die.

There are countless of such fatal cases that i know off in my time.

One involved the Igbo woman being thrown down from the upper floor of the building and she died.

Another involved him bring other women to their home becos he was muslim and wen she object, she gets severe beating with belt.

He died.

This thread pretty much shows why Igbos will always be taken for granted by other Nigerians cause we are so disunited. You can imagine grown up adults arguing over which state is superior to the other, like WTF? A thread mearnt to promote Igbo unity has now been ruined by the cacophony of trolls and shameless bantering. I love my Igboness so much but this embarrassing sh.it show been displayed here leaves me to less hopes for the Igbo nation, we are in big trouble of these idiots here represent the Igbo ideologies we fight so hard to uphold.

No true Ada Igbo born in the East would taint her blood line with foreign genes, FACT. I blame our people who don't do enough to promote the glamor of Igbo culture, we are even appropriating the idea that it's cool to wear the yoruba Agbada and look like a "yoruba demon" and all that trash. Even our Igbo celebrities world wide are tapping into the train of appropriating other cultures just to follow the trend. Thankfully this rubbish isn't sitting well with lots of the young Igbo generation in the diaspora cause I see Igbo kids born here in the states proudly rocking the isi Agu to social events, and it definitely looks mad cool on them. We need to embrace our Igboness first, cause charity will always begin at home.

Obiano is a major offender. The man keeps wearing Agbada like an idiot even during Igbo meetings. That attire is only recognized by the Hausa as Danshiki and the Yoruba as Agbada but foreign to Ndigbo, so why do our leaders keep wearing it even to Igbo meetings?
