So what can I do? I just got married in May. My IELTS results is S-7, R-8.5, W-7.5, L-8. I have gotten my report from WES for B.Sc.. I also have 3 years work experience and I am 28 which automatically makes me the PA. But hubby's highest qualification is WAEC and his IELTS is extremely bad...Our CRS as a couple is 413 but if I apply as a Single lady, it is 435. We were contemplating me applying as a single lady. Please can anyone advise on what we can do? Thanks |

Try to get a PGD by the time you done you will still be under 30,and CRS would be above 445 Or you can decide to take TEF |

These days, having only BSc won't get you to the cut-off scores. Do you have any other qualifications you can access? ND, NCE, PGD etc. If not, you might want to consider enrolling in one asap. You're 28, you could be done with it by the time you're 30. Or if you guys are loaded, sponsor one of your/hubby's siblings and then claim the 15 points |

Mm. Don't think so. I think you can easily explain moving money around your accounts to get higher interest. But calculate the difference in interest, is it worth the hassle? Sthill5: |

In addition to the above, the option you are looking for is called "spouse unaccompanying", it calculates your points as if you are a single. However, 435 is still not enough to get you to the promised land. Do as others have advised. Chi194604: |

In addition to the advice you've been given, you can try the PNP route. I don't know so much about it but o know you qualify with your CRS of 435 |

Whao, I was moved by your story. God is faithful. Congratulations to the entire family. e author=aworldcitizen post=72795078]Praise to the Lord the Almighty the king of creation! Gather round people, it's PPR! Below is my timeline Decision to travel August 2017. Family of 5 Visa office: initially London, moved to kyiv in August. IELTS: September 2017. My IELTS was written once and was perfect 9,8,8,8. Spouse IELTS 7.5,7.5,7,7 ECA: Masters Nov 2017 Entered the pool Dec. ITA January AOR January 17th 2018 Medical Passed Feb 11th 2018 IP1 Feb 12th 2018 IP2 Feb 27th 2018 Then silence. Not even a single ADR. Ordered 1st GCMS notes April 2018 everything looked perfect. Then complete silence. Ordered 2nd GCMS notes July 2018, this never arrived Wrote Raplh who confirmed Eligibility and Security not yet started. More silence, not even a ghost update October 3rd 2018 ordered 3rd set of GCMS notes. Arrived Nov. 1st. Still same as April notes. My file had not been touched since March 2018. Eligibility and Security not yet started. Wrote a 3rd mail to Ralph on Nov 4th who was gracious enough to respond (Ralph responds only once). He confirmed that my eligibility and security was not yet started and my application cannot be expedited. Nov 8th, like a dream ! my PPR! Checked email and profile this morning and saw nothing. By 2pm during my lunch break, I saw a mail notification, I wanted to ignore but decided to check. I saw a mail from donotreply@cic.gc.ca that I have an update on my profile. I was excited, that finally I am getting a ghost update / adr. I logged into my cic acct and saw my profile was updated. I was so excited, thinking it was just a ghost update and that finally my file was receiving attention. I wanted to log out but I felt the nudge to proceed and click on view complete application which I did. Nothing seemed to have changed, my background check was still in process, I was about to log out again, when I felt that urge to scroll further down to the mail section. I saw I had a new mail, titled request letter. I already concluded that it was an ADR for fresh bank statement. Love and behold, it was the almighty PPR. I wasn't expecting it to come without an ADR for updated POF since my application had been pending for almost 10months. I lost appetite immediately, and was was just screaming. I couldn't share the news with my colleagues, so I just lied to them that my husband got a new job!. I am immensely grateful to God Almighty who did not put me to shame. Delay is not denial. Though it tarries, it must surely come. Thank you all for all the love and support. Off to take my pictures and submit tomorrow. This year has been so challenging. hubby and I lost our jobs, all our money tied at POF, we were feeding from Hand to mouth and struggled to pay school fees. Infact this September, we had to change their schools to a very cheap school. God bless you all.
|

Good afternoon all! Please I really would like to understand the whole process. Everything seems so confusing to me. I just want to start. Highest level is B.Sc, I’m 29 and married but hubby doesn’t want to apply so I’m as good as single with my daughter. Pls who will be kind enough to put me through. Thanks in advance. |

Jasmine17: @ Canadianxmas. After an upgrade to course by course, normally the system would require all docs - previous certificates and transcripts would be listed as awaiting. All you need to do is send a mail through the "contact us" quoting your previous reference number, where your docs have been stored, requesting for the docs to be attached to your new upgrade. You can also put a call across to ensure it is done without delay. Remember, you'd be required to add waec since it's a new policy and scratch card doesn't replace verification mail from waec yet. 7 Likes 4 Shares |

Chi194604:I guess you mean going alone that's spouse unaccompanying, then sponsoring your husband later... It's not a bad idea IMO seeing your husband's highest qualification is WAEC and his IELTS so bad... But the problem is that 435 may not get you ITA going by the current trend... You can retake ielts to know if you can max out the scores thus putting you at 441 (then you apply as spouse unaccompanying) or you get an additional certificate or diploma to get marks for two or more cert or masters too (with this you can get enough marks to cover you and your husband ) I wish you the best 2 Likes |
