I believe rating depends on a whole lot.
Driver's driving skill, Driver's attitude, How clean and sound the car is, Rider's personality.

I have never given a driver less than 5 star regardless of the brand and year of vehicle. A 2001 camry once picked me up, immediately i entered, i noticed couple of things, his exhaust was bad, shocks bad, couple with other things, i still gave him a 5 star, this i would say, rider's personality matters when it comes to rating.
I always engage drivers in a discussion to understand the reason for certain things but at the end i do advice them to take care of their cars as its their source of income. I think its only one or twice i have paid exact fare and the rest i end up giving them extra (still regardless of the car).

Back to the ria kio saga, Kia rio is a strong car and can handle abuse but guess what, its also very easy to work on.

It's not good when your phone gets hot while using the uber app
Experience shows that most of the install app on the phone will malfunction and will never give you accurate result

To avoid your phone getting hot while using the uber app or taxify !!!!! Do this
Get a towel that can retain water very well, dip the towel in clean water the queez it, place your phone in between the fold of the towel.
