So all baba 21goals or so no dey productive grin grin grin

When I say those goals na wash una think say I dey hate on the boy. Defense in the Chinese league is a very big joke, hence the exploits of the strikers there are flukes. Chinese leagues dont invest in the defense unlike in the midfield and attack where they pack some over used players from Europe. All u hailing Ighalo's goals in China are funny and cant see beyond ur noses. Like I always say, Ighalo's little purple patch wt the Eagles lately and his romance with Rohr is like a pig on lips stick. Ighalo aint what we need to propel us. Do you even know how many goals a crap wing forward like Frank Acheampong of Tianjin Teda has banged in since moving to China? A player who couldn't manage a double digit in as many seasons while in Belgium with Anderletch.

Lol I laf in swahili bkus Teda (mikel's club) is also on the edge despite Acheampong's goals.

See Ighalo, see Rohr grin grin

Then why couldn't his team score today without him in the lineup?

I will never agree with that. That type of thinking creates selfishness and ruins teams. The goal in football is winning and an assist is exactly the same as a goal. The attack is built around the nine but that doesn't mean that he must score in order to help the team.
.

Exactly. Football, these days has gone beyond strikers having to score. Especially with the invention of false nines like Firmino.

Moses isn't interested in top level football anymore. Dude is currently looking for a big money Asian team. He thinks he has achieved enough and it's time to cash out.

That's the problem with most Nigerian players. Zero hunger, zero drive or determination to get to the top. As soon as they get to an average team in Europe or achieve a little success, they relax and think they have "arrived"!. SMH.

that's it

He proved himself in England. So you have nothing on him. He would have been a Manchester United player if not for the sacking of Vaan Gaal.

In England, he was a flash in the pan. A one season wonder. He couldn't sustain the tempo hence felled outta favour and then ran away to Asia. About joining United(that's if that news was anything to go by), he would have been United's own version of Lambert who also flattered to deceive, and still managed to scam Liverpool.

hmmm, its one thing to score goals, and still its another thing to conceal goals,
losing a match, or being relegated, with a 21 goals striker, speak volumes of the backline and goalkeeping

Ighalo is not a one season wonder, yes he had a loss of form and was sold to china january.

It might be hard for our strikers in the epl to even get 15 goals this season and you are calling ighalo a one season wonder

Benteke has been shinning in the epl but what happened to him last season? Dude got only 3 goals, average players always have their ups and down.

What correlation does the bolded have with our topic of discussion? It reeks of puerility and makes u look outta sorts hence grasping at straws.

Nota bien; make this a raillery and avoid unnecessary provocative jibes even when u try to straggle, otherwise, I walk away

Now back to our topic, Success is ready, Musa thrives better playing up front, Iheanacho, Odey and Osimhen are options

The bolded just gave u away bkus Eagles are renowned for quality strikers(Yekini, Siasia, Amokachi, Aghahowa, Martins, Yakubu, Garri master(Ike Uche) et al) , hence cant settle for average strikers like Ighalo and his ilks. Thank u sir

Agree with those players you mentioned, martins and co are world class including yakubu, yakubu is the 3rd african highest goal scorer in the epl history with 98 goals despite playing for average clubs only behind adebayor and drogba.

Ighalo is average no doubt.

But which super eagle striker is above average?

Your post reel of pure sentiments and hatred towards Ighalo. All those names you mentioned in what way are they better than Ighalo? In what league are they playing in? how many goals do they have to their names consistently for 2-3 seasons? Thank you

The bolded is why I said the Chinese defense is a joke and the goals scored by the strikers against those defenses are flukes. Just check the stats and see the huge number of goals shipped in by the defense of each of the teams in the CSL, then u will get my gist better. All the clubs have poor defenses, hence a poor striker in that league would look like an Allan Shearer. That league is no good measure of a striker's true quality. It is deceptive and the world, bar some blind fanatics know it.

We are not to blame for his short comings bro. This is football, we talk/act facts not feelings. We sympathise with him for his loss but then we are not gonna compromise on quality. No preferential treatments and no glorification of mediocrity for reasons, whatsoever.
