I am a Chelsea fan and this is what I have to say:

The major problem of this team is Mourinho. Bring in another coach and see how he'll set this lethargic players on fire. Watch Martial, Sanchez, Matic and others come to life. Even De Gea is tired and getting unmotivated. If he has a solid team behind him, he wouldn't want to be the guy messing up.

Mourinho must go for Man Utd to make any progress. That win over Juve and your wins in the last few games came from rare sparks in games. You can't be a top team if you're always waiting for your opponent to make mistakes, waiting for set pieces or waiting for individual sparks of brilliance before you score a goal.

I wasn't impressed by those wins because I knew they were kind of lucky wins.

When last did you watch Man Utd work a goal from De Gea to the defense to the midfield to the forward?

You can't continue like this forever. Man Utd is bigger than this.

No matter how many players you bring in to this team, the problems will remain.

Take Chelsea for example. See how they always play differently any time a new coach is introduced. Dull players will then come to life.

Get a new coach. Mourinho needs to go.

From hindsight, I think Fred should have come for Herrera. I was always scared that Mata would not be able to cope with the speed of City players if brought on. Rashford could not exercise his speed against them, talking less of Mata.

There was only one way to beat them, pace and power. We lacked that in the midfield. Pogba would have offered some power and forward drive.

Our defence has no coordination. We need an experience central defender to organize the defence.

I still have problems with Luke Shaw. I don't want to belabour this. Since people don't see what I see, I rest my case. He is playing in his natural position and was highly rated there while at Southampton. But he makes basic errors like an academic player and offers little going forward. That same left side is where Young and Blind have punished City and other big teams in the last few years.

Generally and collectively our play was poor. Individually the players were poor. Even DeGea could have saved the second goal

One thing city players have over United players is ball control ability. The second is dribbling skills. If we had enough power and pace, we could have nullified this. Most of our players don't have the quality for passing game to match City.

If I were to suggest, I would prefer Young to play our left back while Valencia plays on the right until others fully mature into these positions.

Apart from inability to go forward with flair, Shaw is gradually showing big games are hard for him to even defend. As a natural defender, his position is suppose not to be a worry at all. From the left side today, City went behind our defence count ess times.

This is my opinion and nothing against Shaw here. When we start FA cup we should also try Rojo there. Then we hope to see how Bailly and Jones would cope in the defence again. But I don't want us to hurry to change the partnership of Smalling and Lindelof. Let it happen naturally. Everyone will get his time.

Midway into the first half we were playing well. Second half, City were scared when we got one back. But Mata and Sanchez coming made the team impotent pushing forward. Every ball they got was frustrated and they were easily dispossessed. They just could not move.
