This is what I feel also, our defense isn't great nor bad just okay and manageable,
We are lacking wingers or playmakers with ability on the ball, we need that man who will take on a defender and beat his man like an hazard or sterling, we were just passing sideways and backwards..
Also For the umpteenth time Auba at the wings have been extremely poor,it can't and won't work, I even doubt Auba/laca in a front 2, our middle will be dominated and they will both disappear and may not shoot on or off Target the entire game.

Iwobi also has been poor on the the right wing he's either an AM or LW..

We missed welbeck's airel presence later on in the game, he's our only striker that scores with the head,all our crosses were wasted.

Kola if doesn't impress by end of season should be sold and get a new lb

We were again bullied, our oppositions always seem to be stronger and fitter than us.

That's what we need, a player(winger) to constantly scare, pin and stress opposition defence, none of our boys pose that threat, they are weak,soft and slow.
Our so called Auba and laca and others didn't do half of what zaha did to us.
Sterling, hazard, zaha et all doesn't have much end product, they hardly score or assist 20+ but they contribute a lot into teams success.

He must have learnt a good lesson today, that EPL is not La Liga or Bundesliga. That here any team can be beaten by any team. That tiki taka 'nor be for England'. Just this last world cup Fernandinho..Sterling...Bernado Silva and Jesus were criticised and called frauds. I don't want to talk about Mendy and co that did not even play at all. Even KDB was criticised. But as soon as these same players play for Pep we start hearing about how much they were bought for and how world class they are. To me, it is a testament to Pep more than a criticism. I don't get irked by such anymore.

Another thing I was hoping people will state on NL (but I am yet to see on any thread) is that Maradona is a very good friend of Jose Mourinho (you can watch the documentary on Mou's 10th year as a manager to see this) so it should come as no surprise that he has been taking his man's side. He does not believe what he is saying.

As for the confused people who talk about tiki-taka and what not. They should go and watch Pep's Barca, Bayern and now this City. He plays (and has always played the most balanced style of football) where he mixes great counter attacking, short passes, long passes and even root one to win games. I laugh when I see "analysts" on NL spew thrash. Eveyrwhere he went his teams usually scored the most and conceded the least except Barca 2011/12 and City 16/17 and in those 2 seasons he did not win the league.
