Dear fellow DPR hopefuls., I was authoritatively informed that all APL's were ready for over 3 months now and those in charge are not ready to place calls for APL pickup. For this, I have started making contacts to some stakeholders seeking for the release of my APL. You can also do the same if know anyone. To this point, I am convinced that DPR management will not make any contact.

Since d subtle approach of cake delivery didnt work. Its high time we used d other approach... Its getting clearer by d day dat d delay is not in d favour of d common man. And if d publication is going to have any impact at all i think now is d best time. The content of d publication should just be carefully selected. Its clear now dat most people against d publication are either dpr staff (old staff and new intakes) or hopefuls that are sure dat dia names are on d new list...

We must wait o. Do you want them to cancel the recruitment?? Do you want to jeopardize the seemingly insignificant number of merits on the list? If we have to wait till 2020, let's wait. It's just 2 years since application and about 3 months since the 1st batch resumed. Where is your patience?

This is how it goes; the APLs carry dates a successful applicant is meant to accept/reject the offer and resume, beyond which no claim of the offer can be made. After that date, the slots belonging to those who did not claim their offer will be re-assigned to special people they have waiting. That's why some people are against the publication and telling you all to wait, cos they know as e dey go.
At the end of the day, they will claim all successful candidates were contacted, but we all know that's a lie.

If una like, make una wait. Till some dead-heads will claim positions meant for the merits. And we all keep asking why the vital sectors of the economy are under-performing.

brother, those who dared to think of doing something about it were accused of being enemies of the state/humanity. Abeg, wait we must! It is best that way. There is a guy on this thread 'Walush'. His info has always been spot on and he doesn't talk much. I wish he could just come around now. May be he has gotten his APL too sha. Smartgridreborn and the rest went AWOL after picking their APLs. I guess everything becomes strictly confidential once you get in.

Lol. Brother I was lost in thoughts when I posted my first comment this morning. I had the weirdest dream.

Fresh war broke out. O boy it wasn’t a small thing. I found myself with a small fighting faction. The war just started, we were busy loading up on AK-47s the guns looked so real but get this; inside its cartridge was something that looked like a “Printer ribbon”. When we fired it, o boy na real bullet wey dey kill enemy soldiers comot for the thing .

I didn’t recognize anybody’s face but I could feel their determination. The tension was surreal, especially after we “killed” a handful of enemies that made it to our camp. Real bullet flying left, right and center; enemies falling left and right. In the dream, I didn’t have time to rationalize “O boy no be print ribbon dey inside these guns”; Its now that I’m awake that I have such luxury.

Then we all got inside a small boat, heavily armed. About to follow a river down to the enemy’s camp. War is not for the faint hearted Na there I wake up, then the first thing I checked was DPR Nairaland
