Besides that, why still use cable for transfer between mobile and laptops in this age? It's so stressful and slow and your phones movement is restricted during the period. Use SiLfer, its on playstore and available for pc. You get transfer speeds ranging 6-15MB/s

Mi Drop, xender, etc all connect to pc. Xender has been the fastest I have used.

I would say download the full rom from the xiaomi site, transfer it to your phone and then install via the updater app.

Much better than these incremental updates.
