It was understands that Watford super kid Jayden Bennetts is in line to make his international debut for Nigeria after receiving his first call-up to the Flying Eagles squad ahead of the 2018 WAFU U20 Cup of Nations.
The 2001-born player is expected to fly out to Abuja in the coming days to link up with the Nigeria U20 squad at their training camp as Watford have permitted him to train with the squad during the international break.
Bennetts is an attacking midfielder who can also play as a striker and he’s creative around the penalty area.
The highly-rated teenager has cited Chelsea dazzler Eden Hazard as his role model because of the way he plays and creates.
Bennetts’ impressive form for Watford U18s might have convinced Flying Eagles coach Paul Aigbogun to give him a chance to fight for a spot in the team before next February’s Africa U20 Cup of Nations.
So far this season, he has scored 4 goals in 12 appearances for Watford U18s and played a couple of games for the U23s.
Jayden Bennetts was born in Barnet to a Nigerian father and German mother and this means he is eligible to represent England as well as Nigeria and Germany but the Nigerian Federation are in pole position to secure his services.

Bad move if it is true. He should not make the blunder that the likes of Alex Iwobi and Victor Moses committed. England would be a faaar better option for a young, upcoming footballer than Nigeria.
Playing for a World Cup semi-finalist will add more value to your career than playing for a serial world cup flop.
I'll find the guy's IG page and convey this advice to him.

Are you okay?

Why are you quoting the wrong person?

In your own case, receive brain first, then later on receive sense.

Your lack of intelligence kept you from differentiating between club football and national team football. There are many footballers who won nothing playing for their national teams but won everything with their clubs, i.e. Ryan Giggs, George Weah, George Best, Dejan Savicevic etc, the list is endless.

Secondly, England can now boast of an array of young talented footballers and this guy will fit right in. He belongs with the likes of Rashford, Sterling, Dele Alli, Harry Kane, Jesse Lingard. Iwobi is regretting his decision to listen to his uncle JayJay and condemn his future with a hopeless team like the Super Chickens who have failed to qualify for the last two Nations Cups.

Thirdly, as a result of Brexit, English clubs no longer have to comply with the EU directive on setting aside a quota for foreign players in their squads. That means that the likes of Victor Moses and Iwobi as foreigners will find it difficult to hold down first team positions in their English clubs very soon.

All the more reason why a young player should not throw his future away just because one useless 3rd world country cannot develop its own talent.

You are a dullard

Ur argument holds no water

Infact it is baseless n tactless

Listen

Moses has achieved a lot with the little time he spent with the eagles.

He has played in 2 different world cups as well as 2 different AFCON

He has 1 AFCON title to his belt n played a pivotal role to Nigeria's qualification for the 2014 n 2018 world cup

He is a king in Nigeria

He never played second fiddle

Iwobi on the other end at a very tender age has achieved a whole lot for his country.

Don't forget his winning goal sent us to Russia 2018 n has lot of assists to his name already.

If Iwobi had chosen to represent England over Nigeria, he would have long bn forgotten.
Ola Aina has become a regular in the Eagles shirt playing every available matches. He has no regret. I'm sure you knew he wouldn't made it to the reserve team of the English team

Jordan Ibe n Tammy Abraham openly denounced Nigeria for an opportunity to play with the English national team, the opportunity never came and when a glimmer of hope seems to have arrived for Tammy, it was short lived.

Now Jordan us begging to play for Nigeria

Sol Campel a guy with Jamaica root openly declared his regret for playing with the English NT

He was denied the captainship role because of his color n race.

England will only use you n dump you.

Dele Ali is Lucky for now. Let see where it will end

At least Nigeria has hope of winning Nation's cup

Hehehe. Guy, don't overtax your small brain with matters beyond its capacity. Is it the same Victor Moses who retired at the age of 27 and you had to beg to come out of retirement that you are using as an example? Did your useless country develop Victor Moses talent? Did you discover him and nurture him? Was it not in England that he achieved everything which attracted him to you? If he had not left for England at an early age, he would NEVER have become the player he is today because your idiotic country is fond of fielding over 30 as under 17.
You guys need Iwobi more than he needs you. This guy is not going to make the same mistake and throw away a promising future.
