I think the past leadership of Ethiopia shall teach us many things (before PM Abiy).

They used to tell us how Ethiopia is growing, how Ethiopia is moving and how our economy is getting high. We trusted them and we were happy because that is all we see on the outside. We didn't dig the inside. If they didn't do well on the out side (economy), they knew they wouldn't survive to get the power for long. But they made bad things on us. They have been changing our mind and created fear and haterd between us (the nations).

Economy is not permanent, rather temporary. The big wealth of a country is its nations. Unless Africa has people who are educated and conscious, we can't say any good about us. Economy is fooling us.

South Africa, with the second biggest economy is also told as one of the most developed country in Africa. But xenophobic attack still happen there. If economy has the power to change everything, why and how did that happen?

I don't know which African country qualifies to have enough nations with conscious mind.

Personally, I don't think no one has to debate on economy. Kenya could be the number one in East Africa (in economy), and Ethiopia could be the last. We could have the worst economy in the world, I don't mind because unless our nations aren't strong enough. . . .the economy could crack any time.

Because what do you know? Chinese or any white people won't help a country out for no reason. They give you bronze in exchange of Diamond. What if your government is secretly giving China what they need? Why do you think Kenya today became the focus of China more than any other African country?

Even the African union; which was fully funded by China had secret hidden. They have been recording (hacking) all what was going on in there.

How complicated is it to nationalize your oil and have Nigerian Oil company sell your oil? Nearly every decent country do this - it's probably only Nigeria where a foreign company controls it's most strategic resource.

Bro three bgosa for you , u have said it all, I really don't have issues with the aboriginal Kenyans as they are one of the most welcoming people I have ever met, my issues is the fact they are too blind to see what its going on.
The saddest moments of my life came while i was touring the industrial areas of nairobi , Nakuru and Mombasa, what I saw their was beyond my imagination. Indians , British and Italians controls and owns 98% of the factories and business both at the industrial areas and CBD , well, Nigerians also have few foreigners mostly Indians and Lebanese but they can only owns few % and be mangers and not the owners of these factories .
These kenya foreign invaders have so much controlled the aboriginal Kenyans mind to an extend that they are made to believe that with out them nothing would work and the country would collapse . the only person that understood this issue is the current kenya president, he actually tried to embrace PAN Africanism by granting all other African free entry to Kenya by so doing bright Africans would then come and liberate the aboriginal Kenyans from mental colonization but its hard to achieve these cause most aboriginal Kenyans are thought to dislike and hate other brighter African nations such as Nigeria,Ethiopia and few others, they tends to believe that these other black Africans would take up their jobs and control them.

about the chinese i will say some kenyans are also worried about the debt but as our president said the debt is manageable and kenya doesnot borrow from china alone it borrows from other countries also iam not happy either by the chinese building simple roads in my country

Well, we haven't heard any major attacks since the Westgate and Garissa University attacks. If attacks happen,they are mainly in form of IED(improvised Explosive Devices) attacks near the boarders. The IED attacks have been thwarted by the Kenya army and the boarder patrol using armoured vehicles.We are now safe, that explains why tourism is back on its feet after the scrapping of the travel advisories that affected the sector. Our intelligence has improved and we are becoming more formidable in the fight against terrorism. As for debt, China isn't Kenya's top creditor contrary to reports. Almost half of our debt is internal with the other half being external. This is great. As the top man Uhuru puts it,the debt is manageable. We haven't yet reached the red line.We have a healthy mix of debt, various lenders have given us credit. What we need is just to develop a clear debt management plan . We are now financing projects off the treasury balance sheets through PPP(Public Private Partnerships). The EU just signed a big deal with us. A five billion dollar 2018-2022 development plan. Many entities are interested in Kenya. Then again,the UN came with a 1.9 billion dollar windfall. You then have JICA(Japan), the Americans,the UK, France and the Netherlands who have had good deals with us recently.What do they all want from us? .. We just hope this engagements are going to be a win win for us and to our partners.
