Interesting. Made my first million by selling a property for someone. 10% of 35million was something extraordinary.
I remember expecting the transfer to my account and when I got to the bank, the Lady checked and told me my balance was N2,000. I sat down at the bank waiting and when I met her to help me check again she almost insulted me. I believe in her mind she was like why are you disturbing me for maybe one chicken change you are expecting.
I just kept my cool and sat there for almost an hour. Then I just looked at her and I guess she just decided to help me check again and the next thing I knew, she walked up to me and said sir its like your account has been credited.
From that moment she was just calling me sir and she offered that I upgrade my account from a savings to a current account and also open a business account.
My shakara that day was the bomb.

At 26, served my uncle for 5yrs, from 21-26. He settled me with 1.5m. a year later I added 2m untop of it.

Now I really can't wrap my head around how much I own

Ten years ago if anyone had said I'll ever see a million I would have laughed that person off. 15 years ago I was walking round Festac Town, sometimes barefooted selling vegetables (shokor) and okra. When the season comes I sell corn..With a trey over my head walking round Festac shouting "BUY SHOKOR". It's the most humiliating thing that can ever befall any on in secondary school as I get to see most of my classmates..girls included. I once saw a classmate and nearly ran for cover, unfortunately the trey fell on the road, and right there I had to stop and picking back the items one by one lol.

The day Nigeria played South Africa in the semi final at the Ghana Nigeria 2002 Nations Cup I wasn't even allowed to see the game. I had to go Kiri. Then, as timaya said " I dey on my own Jehovah just bless me o". God took me from rags, the bottom of the food chain in the family, the most despised and hated, God took me from that to become the richest person in the history of my family. Anyone who doubts the existence of God and his propensity to fight for and bless the underdog, the oppressed, is doing himself a major disservice. I have experienced first hand how God works. It's incredible.

21 am yet to make my first million but i already have a land of my own that is well over 1 million and a couple of shares.But hope to make my first million hopefully next year or two

35years, first month of my first employment and my first pay after seeking for job for over 7 years. Bought first car the second month and things just moved so fast that I didn't remember that I lost 7yrs on the streets. Everything the devil took from my destiny just rush back before I could open my eyes.
While on the street I got close to a million but never netted a million at hand. I was into supplies (construction) and general contracting including but not limited to digging and construction of soakaway pits. Any other job/supplies related to building. Built my first house while on the streets. In all you do just be Godly.

you could start as an agent, connecting home owners to potential buyers, or tenants, and then make a premium (or what you guys in Nigeria call commission)

From there you can build up

And you don't have to be a waka about to be an agent

creating an online platform where you connect the demand side to the supply side will do the trick

its just a suggestion

importation plus I went to Mr A, B , C, D and E got prices of their products. Added a reasonable something on top and started an online store for products I didn't own.

Of course it's not as easy as I wrote, as I had an Abraham that made it easy to access those big men to release items on credit. With profits I got my own products which I'm currently working on trademarking them. The next tv or home theater you buy might have NnamdiN as a brand name.

Left the trade long ago after getting employed, just become a middleman and know how to get products at a rate cheaper than the market value. Like buying granite at odd hours from quarry to avoid ticket boys and doing the trip yourself to ensure the quantity is very OK, buttomline in biz is trust ,if they trust you then the job will keep coming.

1st million at 21, I did after selling solar products online(konga &jumia)and offline. Will visit schools with Solar lamps( Sun King) and sell at night to small stores, the margin was great because of limited variable costs. We still sell solar product www.solartalkers.com. There quite lots of opportunities in this country. Lost quite a lot due to inexperience and trusting people but getting back on track. We are having new products you can become distributors of.

I have not made a million naira before. But I made my first 100 thousand naira at age 18, year 2013 after my ss3 waec through hustling of bottle water and lacasera in hold up and bus parks at Oshodi.

But due to some family issue and being the first born of the family, gave my mum and sibling almost all.

And now that I am an undergraduate in a federal university in Nigeria, having 10k in my account self is a miracle. But I believe I will also make my millions and be okay one day. There is time for everyone!

Last month one banker who is my age mate was following me about and chanting , 'sir, sir' after me because he wanted me to open an account with some money I was in possession of. Money in account was not even my own.
