The Assistant refs must have deliberately picked both as offside, didn't even watch the second half and was too distracted in the first half to see the first goal which was counted as off clearly. rewatching both goals actually got me angry. SA did it against Senegal, now Nigeria, yet CAF is allowing such a mess to continue. BAN BOTH assistant ref for 5 years each and give the CR 1 year ban! charlesemeka85: |

So Dalung has not released NFF allocation this year. This might be partly the reason for the money issues. 5 Likes |

Icon4s: Chief, I am sure people still complained after that match against Libya, unlike some people here I pointed it out a long time ago. Let me ask you something, apart from that 4-0 win against Cameroon, which other game(under Rohr) have we been comprehensively better than the opposition? Most people have been looking for an opportunity like this( a game we failed to win) to come out and voice their disapproval but I already did that long ago. The goals we score are not even in anyway as a result of good tactical play or anything, I mean Kalu just raced to the byline and pulled a cross back and bam. Me sha no want talk too much, but even if Musa had scored, it wouldn't turn that match into anything special. 4 Likes |

Chukwuemeka007: We seem to have over estimated ourselves. When we talk about talent are we talking in the context of a world standard or our own local standard. If we intend to be competing at the highest level then we need to use the standard applicable for making a deduction of outstanding quality talent. Otherwise we will be in delusion and enthrone mediocrity in the name of supporting our talent. It's that misguided blinded bias that made people here to equate KC, to Mbappe, Aguero, Gabriel, etc, etc. There is a need for realism we don't have any Kanu, Okocha , Finidi , Oliseh, Taribo, Yakubu, Yekini, Amokachi, etc. Anymore in my opinion we have regressed in the quality of players available to the SE currently. A lot more has to be done. We have very limited talents as it stands not an abundance of talents. Considering we called Kelechi Nwakali a SPECIAL TALENT and when I said there was no evidence to support that deduction. I was called hater and a lot worse. So let's hail Rohr for a job well done with very limited talents. 2 Likes |

komekn: Sir Komekn, thanks for your exothermic reaction as anticipated. On Nigeria regressing in talents, myself and most persons here won't take that. During yesterday's game, when Success was about to be subbed in, one of the commentators said: "Isaac Success the Watford man in the EPL is about to come in. This gets you asking: how many African teams have EPL players on their bench? This goes to show the array of talents Nigeria has" Sir Komekn, please what's the world standard in talent discovery/measurement? And please of all the players so far invited by Rohr since his appointment, who amongst them are talented according to international standards? 7 Likes |

Icon4s: No one is saying Rohr should play to the gallery but for Christ sake, set up the team to have a little bit of bravery. It is not so long fake thugs last. We were outplayed in all factors of the game. Hiding behind we got results will not take us far when we meet a series of quality oppositions. You can celebrate parking bus and docking our tails like scared kittens against a weakened South African side. Not me. We are well above that with our quality of talents. Congrats we qualified but I will not fail to say we are way above that mediocre display we showed against South Africa. 1 Like |

komekn: When we talk our quality of talents, we are talking with respect to the South African side, not Aguero and Messi. Kelechi Nwakali is a special talent. That is not even up for debate. The case where Kelechi Nwakali is concerned is nurturing his talent to become a top quality player. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Joebie: so unfortunate... the only thing really working for rohr..is integrity at least he is less corrupt when compared to Nigeria coaches.. I am still suspecting him and Baxter have one kind of naughty relationship that made him give up this match so easily. had it been he raised eyebrows after the first disallowed goal....he really take time talk to the refree and lines men... the second won't have repeat itself. |

Corruption is rewarded in our system. A pat at the back and everyone looks the other way. How about we reward excellence? Let’s build an environment where if you are good people will open way for you. The best should be given the opportunity and resources to do even more, that’s the only way we can make advancement as a nation. Oliseh would have done well but for his poor leadership example. We have capable indigenous coaches, and if the environment is right they won’t see the need to be corrupt, and those who still are corrupt should be duly purnished. However, tomorrow, Yusuf will be back running things. Humility017: |
